I have had dogs my whole life. I have my own dog, Nala, who I adore and who is great with other dogs, so if your dog is looking for a sitter where she can be around another dog, we would be perfect. I have a fully enclosed rear garden as well as great walks locally. My house is calm, caring and relaxed, the perfect environment for any dog. I taking the dogs for walks and making sure dogs get all the exercise and enrichment they need through the day. The dogs that I’ve looked after previously have adjusted quickly into our safe and caring environment, wherever possible I aim to mirror their own home, following as close a routine as we can. They will get plenty of attention, care and activity both physical and mental enrichment. I have no children, but my dog would be around, so your dog must be happy with other dogs.

Poppy was great, this was my first time using a dog boarder and my chihuahua was very nervous when he got there. She reacted so well to this, settled him and texted me updates so I knew he was okay before we left. He seemed really comfortable around her and Nala.
I'm delighted with how Poppy cared for Minnie, my elderly and fairly nervous jr/chihuahua cross. Minnie had a lovely time pootling about the garden with Poppy's lovely, gentle dog Narla. I could see from the photos and video Poppy updated me regularly with, that Minnie was happy and relaxed - which in itself is an achievement. I have no hesitation in recommending Poppy for dogs care and will definitely be booking her again.
Lizzie loved her time with Poppy. I felt very safe leaving her and I received plenty of texts/photos to show me how Lizzie had settled. It’s a shame she can’t have her this weekend as she is already booked 😢 would definitely be back! Thank you Poppy ❤️
Poppy is a lovely and caring person who shows lots of love and attention to all dogs. She has cared for my dog on multiple occasions with great success as we had one very happy pooch on return. You really can’t go wrong with choosing Poppy! Woof woof.

Poppy is one of the most caring and dependable people I know. She has an incredibly calm and reassuring presence and also happens to be one of my dog Barney’s favourite people in the world — which, in my opinion, is about the highest compliment anyone can receive. She is thoughtful and considerate by nature and takes responsibility seriously in everything she does. I trust her completely, and any pet owner choosing Poppy through Rover can feel confident knowing their pet will be treated with genuine care, respect, and attention, as well as plenty of patience and affection.

Schedule
I work from home a number of days a week and would be looking to care for dogs on these days, where I have plenty of time for walks, cuddles and to look after all of their needs. I also don't work a number of mornings so can fully focus my attention on the dog during this time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure fully fenced medium size garden the dogs can enjoy and they would also have freedom in the house to roam. I live walking distance to some good nature walks where the dog can enjoy exploring and get good exercise. These walks are safe and away from cars.
