I am an experienced dog owner seeking furry companionship following my soul dog’s departure to the rainbow bridge🌈 I spent the last 14 years taking care of Pie, a patterdale terrier, who we adopted from the Dog’s Trust when he was two years old. In his golden years, Pie developed painful cataracts in his eyes due to the diabetes his breed is prone to, resulting in the removal of his eyes. Ever the trooper, Pie was an absolute star for his twice-daily insulin injections, regular pet visits and adapting to life without sight. His quality of life was of utmost priority, and I spent a long time working with him to find out what worked best for his specific needs as a blind senior dog. Therefore, I am well equipped to take care of dogs with special needs and senior dogs, alongside any other of your delightful four legged friends! Cats too!
