Boarding, walking & playing ♥️
Neighbours and family friends have leaned on me for dog and cat care over the years. Including walks, overnight care and drop-ins. In particular a beautiful mature Border Collie called Alfie who stole my heart. More recently, we cared for a gorgeous cross adopted from India in our home for 13 days. She is great at being lazy but also put us through our paces on the mountains too - the perfect combo for an active couple who also enjoy their chill time.

Poppy was great!! She updated me with a few photos from Harley’s stay, and I felt super comfortable leaving him in her care overnight. Would definitely recommend Poppy for your furry friends!

Our pup, Mishi, had a great christmas weekend at Poppys! We highly recommend Poppy as a sitter. She was very responsive, and easy to plan with. Poppy and her partner were kind and patient with Mishi, and Mishi seemed really happy with her stay there.
Poppy + Shane hosted Dora for an entire 12 days for us and were just amazing! I felt 100% confident leaving Dora with them, and she looked to be super chilled staying with them at their place. She went out on plenty of adventures, but also looked like she was left to do some serious relaxing as well, just as she likes best! Thanks so much guys 🧡

Schedule
I currently work full-time; from home in Kitsilano twice per week, and in Downtown three times per week. Can do drop-ins or walks nearby during my lunch hour, take care of your pet overnight in my apartment which I share with my partner, or evening care/walks between 5pm-10pm most nights. Please enquire for full availability, I can be very flexible!

I have a two bed apartment with a balcony. No other pets, no smokers, two young(ish!) professionals who would like a dog of our own one day!
A typical day
We live close to two dog friendly parks and a beach, and also have a car to take your dog further afield. I love to hike and enjoy being in or on the water swimming or paddleboarding, so if your dog is adventurous too that works! Equally happy to find a quiet area or chill at home.
