Hiya, we are dog lovers and mums of Alfie (our young male Cocker Spaniel) and we are based based in the peaceful residential area of Sanderstead, South Croydon. Having our own dog, Alfie, we completely understand how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, happy and genuinely cared for when you’re away. We do our best to provide a comfortable, loving home-from-home experience where your dog is treated as part of our little family rather than simply being “looked after”. We live in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood, surrounded mainly by families, mature adults and grandparents, with lovely residential streets and green spaces nearby for enjoyable walks. It’s a calm environment that can be particularly nice for dogs who prefer a more relaxed setting away from busy roads and crowded areas. We are attentive to each dog’s individual personality and routine, whether they love plenty of play and attention or prefer curling up somewhere comfortable and having a quieter day. We are happy to follow your usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines as closely as possible so your dog feels settled during their stay. As a dog owner, we know how reassuring little updates can be when you’re away, so also happy to send regular photos and messages. Above all, we will care for your dog with the same patience, affection and attention we would want someone to give Alfie. 🐶❤️ I’d love to have a chat beforehand or even meet and greet your lovely pet 🫶

Schedule
Dogs are already a big part of our everyday life! We have our own Cocker Spaniel, Alfie, so walks, playtime, cuddles and caring for a dog are naturally built into our daily routine. We work in consulting with a flexible hybrid schedule and regularly work from home, which means we can offer plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. Your dog won’t simply be staying with us - they’ll be welcomed into our daily routine and treated like part of the family.

Safety, trust & environment
We want your dog to feel safe, relaxed and completely at home during their stay. We live in a spacious house in a peaceful residential part of Sanderstead, surrounded by quiet streets and green spaces that are lovely for walks. As dog owner we understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. We carefully follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines and give them plenty of attention and affection. We also send regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy and well cared for.

A typical day
Every day is tailored to the dog we are caring for. We usually start with a lovely morning walk, followed by breakfast and some relaxed time at home. During the day there will be playtime, enrichment, cuddles and plenty of opportunities to rest, with another walk later in the day. Having Alfie means there’s also the opportunity for companionship and play with another dog where appropriate. Whether your dog loves adventures and games or prefers cuddles and snoozing on the sofa, we adapt the day to make them feel happy and comfortable.

- We’d love to know all the little things that make your dog unique! Please tell us about their personality, daily routine, favourite activities, feeding schedule and sleeping habits, as well as anything they particularly love or dislike. We’d like to know about their behaviour around other dogs, people and on walks, along with any allergies, medical requirements, anxieties or triggers. As we have our own Cocker Spaniel, Alfie, it’s especially important that visiting dogs are comfortable sharing their space with another dog. A meet-and-greet beforehand is always welcome so everyone can get acquainted and you can feel completely comfortable before their stay.
