Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs all my life almost. I have rescued several dogs, worked with strays - from day old puppies, pregnant dogs, and seniors. I enjoy their company. I have been walking my neighbours dogs since the age of 12. I also know how to handle dog interactions and I understand dog behavior. I grew up in India where stray dogs are around, so I learnt to understand dog body language.

We appointed Pooja on a short notice to dogsit for our pet Nancy who was a handful at 7 months old! She kept Nancy engaged with homemade treat based tricks and also gave us some handy tips on how to work with her food aggression using positive reinforcement, that we had been navigating for a while without much luck. She's patient, has a natural love for animals and I highly recommend her.
Pooja’s love for dogs(and every other animal in general) is unquestionable. She perfectly understands their behaviours and provides utmost care and affection. We have quite a few dogs (and a cat) around the family. She has always looked after them with genuine care. At the end of the day it is peaceful to know your pet is in the safe hands of someone who so obviously loves dogs.

I will walk the dogs based on their needs. Not all dogs have the same needs. It is important the dogs enjoy their time outside, so I'll be walking them and taking a few minutes to sit on a bench when needed so that the dog can relax and enjoy.

It is important to know the dogs triggers and allergies (if any). It is good to know their weight and energy levels so that their activities can be planned accordingly. I'll also get some treats to keep them engaged and think of me as friend.
A typical day
I try to do enrichment games with dogs, so that they are mentally stimulated, if the dog has high energy levels then I would take them outside and play games there. There are a lot of parks in WP. I'll take them there.

Availability
I have a full-time WFH job and I love dogs. I don't have a pet right now so I'll shower your dog with all the love I have in my heart. I am doing this to keep in touch with my animal whisperer and help my fellow neighbors incase they need a break from walking their dogs. My rates are lower than average because I'm mainly here for selfish doggie time and help out dog owners. Win-Win!
