I am a graphic designer and dance instructor. I work from home most days, sometimes in the evenings and occasionally travel for larger events. My schedule is a bit all over the place, but I'm generally home M-F 9-5.

I live in a medium sized apartment with no other pets. We have a large, unfenced yard, and live one block from a dog park. There is room for a crate, but it's my preference to have dogs free roam around with me.

Every dog is different, and I want to make sure I know everything that I can do make their time with me as fun, relaxing and enriching as possible. Are they good with other dogs? What's their favourite way to play? What, if anything, triggers them?
A typical day
I like to wake up to furry snuggles and a cup of tea on the couch. We'll go for a morning walk, and if your dog is up for it, some socializing in the dog park near my house. I will settle in and get some projects done while they snooze or chew on something. If they're small enough (or just determined), they can sit in my lap all day. :)

Pet care experience
I've been caring for dogs my whole life. When my family adopted a grey wolf / German shepherd mix, she became my guardian and best friend (see second photo). I love larger breeds (although teensy lil scaredy dogs are a speciality of mine, too!). I'm the perfect mix of loving and clear, dogs know who's boss. 😎

Pomona was great with my dog Fernie! She provided regular updates and photos, and made sure to let me know right away when Fern was showing signs of an upset stomach. She took Fern to the dog park to play most days, and seemed to spend a lot of quality time with her. It was also super helpful that she was able to provide pickup and drop off service! I would definitely book with Pomona again :)
Pomona “clicks” with animals. She has an intuitive sense for their energies and body language that makes them feel safe with and drawn to her. I have trusted her with caring for my senior cat before and will easily do so again—I’ve also seen her become instant besties with many dogs all around the world. I highly recommend her care.
You probably couldn't do better than Pomona: she's a responsible person who loves animals. She not only delights in the company of animals, but also wants the best for them: the best experience, the best comfort, the best nutrition, the best care. Pomona has also sometimes been sought as a caregiver for houseplants, and her tender care for living things has even been known to extend to farm work. I can heartily recommend this person as a caregiver for pets.
Pomona is amazing! She has taken care of my dog Lumen on several occasions, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Lumen can be a bit of a handful, but Pomona handled her with so much patience, skill, and genuine care. Every time I came home, it was obvious that my pup had been well loved and well looked after. I tend to be anxious when leaving Lumen, but knowing she is happy and in good hands gives me so much peace of mind. I can’t recommend Pomona enough!
