Safety, trust & environment

I’m in my 40’s so you can count on me to be a responsible and careful human! I pride myself on keeping pets safe and keeping your home tidy! I DO REQUIRE A MEET AND GREET FOR NEW PETS/CLIENTS. I prefer to meet your dog(s), in their own environment, before staying at your home or doing a drop-in. Please know that rates are based on a twenty percent fee that is taken from us on this platform. Rates are also negotiable. If you have a flat rate you are able to spend, tell me and I’ll consider it.

Information Polly M. would like to know about your pet

The more details you give about your pet, the better. I need to know about any veterinary info, medical needs, allergies, emotional needs, dislikes and likes, routines, etc.. **Dogs and cats must be up to date on their rabies vaccination (per state law) and be on a flea & tick prevention, please.** **Dogs without a fenced yard must be leash trained, pretty please.**

A typical day

A typical day for pet sitting depends on each and every pet’s personal needs. We can go for a leash walk or two, play fetch or tug, snuggle, play with toys, dance in the kitchen, or binge watch Animal Planet if that’s more their style! I always take a ton of pictures for my clients. I always bring a surprise toy or treats or both for your pet! I also leave an award or report card about your pet, to adorn your kitchen fridge!

Pet care experience

Hi,Howdy & Hello! I’m Polly—an experienced and compassionate pet care provider. With a background as a Veterinary Assistant and hands-on experience working with an adoption team at a local pet rescue, I bring both professional knowledge and real-world understanding to every pet I care for. From routine care to more sensitive situations, I’m comfortable supporting pets with a wide range of needs. I adopt (and have fostered) special needs dogs. Currently, I am a Momma to a 15-year-old beagle and a 10-year-old Shih Tzu. Caring for them and for the pets who came before them, has deepened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to provide thoughtful, individualized care. I treat every pet as if they were my own—because to me, they truly are family! 🚩 *PLEASE NOTE* 🚩 At this time, I’m only accepting dogs/cats under 30 pounds, as I navigate a medical issue for a bit. (exceptions being made for current clients that I feel don’t give me too much of a challenge, are being considered)

Polly did an amazing job with both our dogs- one older and one younger with ALOT of energy. She communicated regularly and left our house spotless. We will definitely be using her again!

Polly was absolutely fantastic. She sent us photos and notes everyday which really helped our anxiety leaving him. When we came home we new right away that Chester loved her. She played with him, gave him his medicine, and even bought him a few toys. Exceptional care. This is the first time we used Rover and wish I had found out about it before! We hate leaving him behind when we travel, but knowing that we now have Polly to rely on, it makes is so much better. My only concern is now everyone will want to book her and then she is not available for us. We could not have asked for better care for our gentle giant.

I highly recommend Polly to care for your fur babies! She was my coworker at Monterey Veterinary Clinic for several years. She is passionate about animal care and is conscientious and reliable. I am picky about who takes care of my fur babies, but I would feel comfortable leaving them with Polly! I know she would spoil them with love and also keep them safe! She has experience with administering meds from her many years of working with animals in the veterinary field. Give her a call for great, loving care for your babies!!
