Chihuahua’s and smaller dogs often feel unsure around larger dogs but can blossom in confidence around dogs their own size! That’s why I decided to offer doggy daycare, walks and sitting services especially for those on the smaller end of the spectrum. As I have a chihuahua myself, I am experienced on their particular needs and personality traits. My home has lots of appropriately sized toys, treats and places to nap in. I have experience with working with reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural difficulties. If your dog does have any of these issues then please do disclose to me in advance so I can be aware of any potential triggers. I will follow any feeding plan and am experienced in administering medication in powdered or tablet form. Walks generally take place around Poplar and Bow where your dog will be able to meet other dogs and experience key situations for socialisation e.g joggers, cyclists, children, prams etc. Our favourite walkies location is Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park which is perfect for dogs who love a good sniff 🐕 in hot weather dogs are safe in my apartment which has a variety of enrichment activities and is air conditioned. As a pet owner myself I really worry about my dog when we aren’t together and know how comforting photos of your dog having a nice time or looking relaxed and cosy are. I always take lots of photos to send to owners and am happy to keep you updated as often as you need to feel comfortable. An amazing cat sitter! We have particular instructions for our spicy kitty and Pippa had them well read by our meet and greet, despite a last minute booking. She was very professional and thoughtful during our visit and through her summary cards/pictures, and we can tell Nova liked her which is rare. The condition of the apartment was perfect, just as we left it. Overall, we’re super happy and hope she would consider cat sitting Nova again. 10/10
Pippa was fantastic. It was great to know that my cats were being really well cared for and that she would do anything she could to make them more comfortable, relaxed and happy. Her kindness and professionalism came through in the check in messages and photos. I'd 100% recommend her (and will definitely be calling on her again).

Pippa has been absolutely amazing! This was our first time using Rover, and we feel so lucky that we chose Pippa to look after Truffle. Truffle spent 18 days with her, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Pippa kept us updated every day with lovely photos and messages, which gave us such peace of mind. We could clearly see how happy Truffle was and how much fun she was having during her stay. Pippa is caring, trustworthy, and clearly loves what she does. First time Pippa took care of Onyx and I couldn't be happier. Although apparently Onyx was even happier and kept trying to trick her for belly rubs 😆

Schedule
I am currently on a sabbatical and am available full time for pet care. My schedule is usually: breakfast, morning walk, playtime at home, longer afternoon walk followed by a snooze for tired puppies, dinner, evening walk and then often more playtime or snoozing depending on the dogs energy. In hot weather I keep my apartment cool and breezy, avoid walking in high temperatures and provide enrichment activities at home to keep busy minds engaged!

I am a legal professional and have a full extended DBS check so I can be relied upon to take care of both your pet/s and your home. I live in a secure development and the dogs will remain with me at all times.

A typical day
I have lots of toys which are suitable for smaller dogs & puppies. These include soft toys, balls, chew toys and puzzle toys. My chihuahua Rhubarb is very playful and she proactively engages other dogs in games with toys, playing chase and wrestling! There is also space for quiet time and rest, with locations in the house perfect to snuggle up in for a nap. I typically take the dogs to locations where there is a safe and secure dog run to play in e.g Ropemakers Fields park and Bartlett Park. It is a great opportunity to meet and greet other dogs and play together in the outdoors. I can also work on exposure for puppies and reactive dogs e.g bus travel, walks along busy roads as requested.
