I've had dogs since I was 6 years old! I grew up with my childhood dogs Dexter and Sasha. They were the loves of my life, I loved walking them, teaching them tricks (although Dexter was rather stubborn and would only perform for cheese), playing with them and cuddling up on the sofa with them. Unfortunately, Dexter had some health issues as he got older: arthritis, hip pain, blindness in his left eye and deafness. I was very thorough with his care, I was up to date with his meds as well as his other needs, such as hip exercises, ear and eye cleaning etc. I also made sure during this time that Sasha was just as well taken care of and given enough attention. I also have helped friends and family with their dogs e.g. walking, pet sitting, feeding.
