I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the pet’s habits, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate routines, or just giving them extra attention and playtime. I know every animal is different, so I try to pay attention to their personality and energy level instead of forcing them into a routine that doesn’t fit them. I also prioritize safety during walks and visits by keeping pets supervised, avoiding unsafe environments, double-checking gates/leashes, and making sure they have fresh water, exercise, and a calm environment (and of course cuddles and attention.) I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so I want them to feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away.
