I’m excited to offer dependable dog-walking and pet-drop in services, as well as house sitting/boarding on a case-by-case basis! My love for animals was set in motion by my childhood dog, Biscuit, who lived to be 17 and a half years old! Over those 17.5 years, my love and care grew to include 7 foster cats (until I adopted my current cat, a foster fail!), friends' and neighbors' animals, and the animals at the Humane Society. I am comfortable with all personalities, and familiar administering oral and topical medication. When you trust me with your animal, I will treat them with the same love and care that Biscuit sparked in me all those years ago. I offer house-sitting and boarding on a case by case basis. I understand that being away from their parents can cause stress in pets, and I'm committed to ensuring a smooth transition and a loving environment while you're away. I'm happy to adjust play and enrichment based on what your pets require. If they are high energy, I'm happy to play and go for long walks. If they're low energy, I'm happy to cozy up with them. When giving me instructions for their care, don't be afraid to go into as much detail as possible. I want to be able to provide a comfortable stay where you can trust that your pet is safe and happy. If your cat is boarding with me, they will have a friend to play with: my cat, Tippy, is cat friendly and generally adjusts her energy levels to her companions. If your dog is boarding with me, we can arrange a meet and greet with my cat to ensure they get along. If I am just dropping in to your home to walk your dog or say hello to your animals, I am happy to water any plants, or pick up any mail for you.

Pia was able to keep Artie last minute and was a blessing. She sent pics and kept me informed of all that he was doing. She was a great sitter!

Pia is a gentle and patient caregiver to animals. She understands the anxiety they can feel when a pet parent is away and handles them with love and soothing tones, encouraging trust. She understands the power of touch and play to create a wholesome experience for any furbaby. I have experienced Pia's relationship with our dog from when he was young and needed to release energy, to when he was seventeen years old and needed touch, reassurance, and cradling. She is also an expert at administering medication, having fostered many cats that needed different levels of care. I would trust Pia with pets without hesitation and highly recommend her as a caregiver.

Schedule
I am not currently working, so all my time is dedicated to your animals! I am available between 10am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, for dog-walking services and drop-in services for cats and dogs.
