I am very new here - help me get started ! I offer dog- and cat sitting in your home. To most dogs, it can be a stressful and sad situation to see their beloved owners go away with their suitcases to leave for holidays without them. If they then on top of it all are sent to stay in another house or a kennel, the situation becomes traumatizing for many. You will avoid putting your dog through this by having someone like me coming to your home to stay with your pet while you are away. They will feel as little change as possible; they stay in their usual environment and will keep their daily routines. I am very flexible and will adapt to any time-schedule. I will take of your fur-baby as if he/she was my own (yes, that is also a problem for me when leaving, as I end up missing all the animals I have stayed with)! I love cuddling them, and they will be allowed to sleep in my bed, if that's what they are used to with you :) Being a great nature-lover, I enjoy outdoor activities and if your dog is fit for it, he/she will get a lot of exercise with me every day. Being sporty and healthy is important to me, and after having spent years in an office environment I now want to do everything that does not involve sitting down all day! Of course, if your dog is a puppy or a senior, I will adapt. I have experience with dogs at all ages, including puppies, and elderly dogs with poor eyesight and hearing disabilities. I also have experience and good technique in giving medication to cats. FYI: I have taken a first-aid course for dogs.

Pia es una cuidadora muy profesional que piensa mucho en cada detalle para el bienestar del perro. Nos dio mucha confianza desde el primer momento y nos mantuvo informados varias veces durante el dia. Asi que pudimos estar tranquilos sabiendo que nuestra perrita estaba en buena manos. Además, tiene bastante experiencia y sabe calmar a un perro con miedo. Es una persona muy encantadora, y sobre todo cariñosa con los perros. La recomiendo 100 %, sin ninguna duda repetiré.
Pia looked after our three rescue dogs (and our house) for a long weekend, and we couldn't be happier about how things went. She gained our girls' trust immediately, even if they can be a bit shy in the beginning. We knew they were in the best hands, which put our minds at ease. Pia is reliable, punctual, full of energy, and a true dog lover. And you'll find the house tidier when you're back ! We highly recommend her and cannot wait to have her dog- and housesit for us again.
Pia has returned as our house – and catsitter uncountable times, and once even for 3 months in a row. It is obvious to see that she has a big heart for cats; our Slofje has enjoyed being spoiled by her. She has always been flexible and once you have an agreement with Pia you can rely on her 100 %. She likes cleaning and tidying up the house too; it is such a pleasure to come home tired after a long travel and find your home well-arranged and clean.
Pia's dedication during our last summer holiday was truly heartwarming. Her care for our rescue dog and our home went above and beyond. We're eagerly hoping she returns for future stays ! Pia's active lifestyle was a perfect match for our energetic dog, providing daily walks and runs that kept him happy. With Pia, our family enjoyed a fully relaxing holiday, free from worries about our furry friend's well-being. Pia's understanding of the dynamics of a busy family with kids was evident, alleviating our concerns while we were away. Returning home to a perfectly maintained house was an added bonus. I have a big roof-top terrace which is ideal for dogs. I also live close to great ourdoor areas where I enjoy dogwalking in the forest, or taking them to the fenced doggy-park next door.

I will adapt to any time schedule, and I am happy to get up early in the morning to take the dogs out. I am very sporty and will run with your dog, if he is fit for it. I am a nature-lover too, so we can be outdoors most of the day. I can also offer basic dog grooming services in your home or mine, as I have just finished a dog grooming course. I have all the material needed for it.
