Animals lover wants to share love
The picture on my profile is with me and my best friend (besides my husband), Hobie. Hobie passed away in 2020, but will always be with my family and me in our memories and in our hearts. Most of all I am an animal lover who would like to share my love for them. I have always had dogs as pets, love having them in our home and strive to recognize and meet their individual personality needs. I have professional experience as a dog walker and pet sitter and really enjoyed each and every animal I had the pleasure of caring for. I have experience administering medications, both orally and injections, as well as monitoring health issues such as diabetes, kidney issues and old age. I also have some experience with puppies. My training is that of a Registered Nurse, so I am comfortable with many issues involving health. I love being outdoors and will make sure your pets get all the fresh air and exercise you request. We live in a quiet neighborhood near Gully Park, Mud Creek Trail and Sweetbriar Trail. Now your pets can enjoy themselves as much as you when you are away! In order to avoid confusion please do not put in a drop off and pick up time when requesting a booking. We can discuss that at our meet and greet. I charge on a 24 hour basis from time of drop off to the time of pick up for boarding. I offer a 2 hour grace period. Pick up 2-4 hours after drop off time is 1/2 day of day care. Pick up over 4 hours after drop off time is 1 full day of day care. Thank you very much. Phyllis

Ratings and reviews
Phyllis and her husband Joe are fantastic sitters. They are very caring, send photos and notes daily, take them on daily walks (even though they have a huge yard), and do tricks with them. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Phyllis and Joe have been our go-to sitters for Odie since we moved here. They watched Odie for the last 2 weeks while we were away, Odie’s first time being away from us for this long, and they were incredible! They took such good care of our boy, sending daily updates and making sure Odie was comfortable throughout his long stay. We so appreciate their gentle care and trustworthiness! Highly recommend!

As one of those hyper protective pet parents, finding a dependable, trustworthy sitter who put us totally at ease leaving my dog for any amount of time has been difficult… until we met Phyllis. Upon our first meet and greet, I knew that Koby would be in excellent hands and would not only receive attention, walks, and playtime, but that he would receive love in our absence. In the past I have always worried while traveling, to the point that vacations weren’t very enjoyable, but now I know he is happy and having fun which allows me to relax and enjoy our trips. The pictures and daily recap are evidence of his contentment, but the real proof is that as soon as we pull up at Phyllis’s home, Koby runs up to her door with his tail wagging, happy to see her and her husband, Joe. And unlike with past sitters, he doesn’t beg me to take him with me when I need to leave. He adjusts immediately to his routine in her home. I can’t say enough good things about her. She will care for your dog as her own. I highly recommend!
Great first and second meetings with Phyllis. She spent plenty of time with us at a meet and greet so our older dog could get to know her. She handled two drop in visits with him today like a PRO, giving him plenty of time, love, and attention. He loved it. Showed up when she said she would, and was timely with communication. Great experience. I won’t hesitate to reach out to her again in the future.
We have a 12 year old, 60 lb mixed breed dog and Phyllis took amazing care of her for a week. We received a daily update with a photo, and our dog looked right at home! Phyllis took detailed notes before our booking and asked clarifying questions to ensure she understood our dog’s routine. We felt very comfortable and at ease, knowing our dog was being cared for. Thank you Phyllis, we will definitely be booking with you again! 10/10 would recommend!!!

This is my second time using Phyllis and I will continue to use her when I need to board. She and her husband took extra special care of my fur baby who recently tore his ACL. She sent nightly updates with pictures. I’m quite sure my Bailey was spoiled during his stay. I don’t worry about him at all when he is there. He was very comfortable and happy during his stay. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet care, simply put, is part of our daily routine and we love having them visit with us. We care for them and love them like family while they are with us.

We have a fenced yard and we remain in the yard with our canine visitors when they are in the yard. They are always leashed before going out for a walk.
A typical day
I offer lots of walks in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic, and in the parks and trails near our home. Playing ball in the home, or in the yard.

- I enjoy meet and greets because it gives the owners a good sense of what their furry family member's stay will be like and it gives me a chance to understand the pet's needs and the relationship between the owner/s and their loved one.
