I have a friendly German Shepherd and we have a doggie door which opens to a patio and average yard, not huge but plenty of run around space. I feed them on schedule. They will get 1-2 walks per day, the length depends on how hot it is. I will brush them lightly but no major grooming. They can roam around the house as well as outside. My dog can be interactive but will leave the visiting dog alone if they do not want to play.

A typical day
I like to provide some stimulation off and on throughout the day. We will go to a large doggie park and feed at scheduled times, or walk the neighborhood sidewalks and play with toys in the back yard: tennis balls, tug toys, whatever they like.

Pet care experience
My pet care experience comes from my own pets, now and in the past. My first dog was a Westie and I trained him from 3 months. He was extremely well behaved and happy. I have since switched to larger dogs. I have had two German shepherds, one died about 4 years ago and I now have Gunner who is about 6yo. He is well trained, gets along well with all dogs and people. He is not aggressive and he follows comands such as sit, down, off, come.
