I’ve always been an animal lover and have several years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs for friends and relatives, especially when they’re away. I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, walking dogs, playtime, basic grooming and keeping pets company. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so owners can relax knowing their pets are in good hands.

Schedule
I work from home 2–3 days a week which gives me good flexibility for weekday drop-in visits and walks. On office days, I’m generally available in the mornings and evenings and I’m also happy to take weekend bookings. I’ll always try to work around your pet’s usual feeding, walking and playtime routine wherever possible.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow any routines, feeding instructions and care requirements you provide and make sure doors, gates and windows are kept secure. During walks, dogs will be kept safely on lead unless you specifically tell me otherwise. I also understand that some animals need more space or time to settle so I’ll always introduce them to a new environment calmly and at their own pace.
A typical day
A typical day would be based around your pet’s usual routine. For dogs, I’d include walks, playtime, toilet breaks, feeding and plenty of attention and company. For cats, I love interactive play with toys, giving them attention when they want it and making sure they also have quiet time to relax. I’m happy to adjust activities depending on your pet’s age, energy level and personality.

- Please let me know about your pet’s normal routine, feeding schedule, temperament and any medical or behavioural needs before the booking. I’d also like to know how they are around other animals and people, whether they have any fears or triggers and anything they particularly love or dislike. The more I know beforehand, the easier it is for me to keep them comfortable and maintain their usual routine.
