About Me: I have been a dog lover all my life. I come from a long line of folks who treat their pets like family members; when when I am with your dog, they will receive the same care and attention that I've always given my own pets (ie. I won't be staring at my phone while we go for walks or outings). I like to really engage with the dogs I care for and build a trusting relationship with them, even if we're only together for a day or two. I frequently watch my friends' and neighbors’ dogs when their humans are out of town. We go for walks together and hang out at local parks where we can run around and play fetch. We also enjoy snuggling up at home with a good chew toy and a fluffy blanket. I have cared for dogs of every size, shape, and age and I love them all! I am happy to accommodate the needs of any canine friend. For the comfort and safety of all involved, I do have a few requirements: - Meet & Greet prior to any daytime or overnight stay (No Exceptions)* - All stays must be fully booked and confirmed prior to arrival - Please provide all necessary items including leash and collar or harness, favorite toy, etc. - Dogs must be picked up on the date originally agreed upon. *The Meet & Greet will give you and your pup a chance to confirm that I am a good fit. This is also a great way for us to ensure we are on the same page concerning your dog's needs so that everyone is as comfortable as possible going into the stay. If your pup feels safest with their crate available, please let me know what your crate routines and preferences are so I can maintain their expectations.

Part of why I ask to have a meet and greet before dog-sitting, is so that I can get the lay of the land in your pup’s environment. Are there areas of the house they shouldn’t be unsupervised? Is there a gate in the yard that isn’t completely reliable? The more information I have, the safer and happier your dog will be while in my care!

We were delighted with the wonderful job Phylicia did while house sitting and taking care of our dog, a young and boisterous Chocolate Labrador for just over a week. We will always hope that she will be available for future doggy care.

Phylicia is the best!! She took fantastic care of my dog when I had to go out of town for two days - she paid great attention to the special food/medicine instructions, his routine, and also his interests. Not to mention how her update photos are the best ever. It was so great knowing Porter was well cared for when I was gone - she truly spent the time with him, playing and walking and hanging out, and also left my house so super tidy! Will definitely be booking again.
I was visiting SF and needed Meatball watched for the night. Phylicia took such great care of him for me! She sent me updates during his stay, showing me how much fun they were having. I will definitely use her when I visit again, and feel good knowing Meatball is in great hands!!
Phyllicia is great! Our dogs loved her and were very happy to stay with her. My dogs get anxious when we leave and they seem very relaxed when we got back. She send me photos a couple times a day, gave me updates and followed my dogs routines perfectly. I will book again for sure! Thank you Phyllicia! :)

Schedule
My schedule is happily flexible and can accommodate your pets needs! I usually do 2 walks each day when I’m pet-sitting in your home - not including back yard time - as well as a trip to the park or trails, and a potty break before bed

- I have no breed preferences. Please let me know if your dog has any quirks that I should be aware of during our stay (ie. barking or chewing, anxiety, extra walking requirements, trouble walking, any reactive behaviors, etc.). Let’s be sure we are on the same page regarding how best to respond to their quirks and needs! None of these are necessarily a non-starter for me. I just want to be fully informed so that everyone is safe, comfortable, and well-cared for.
