Since I work from home full time, your fur baby will have constant care during the day. Because of this, my pack gets to enjoy plenty of walks throughout the day and get potty breaks every 3 hours. We do not leave our pack alone for too long when we go out. I have flexible pickup and drop off times that works best for you. I offer pickup and drop off services as well (within 5-10 miles) so you have one less thing to worry about when packing and traveling.

There are plenty of gates in our home to ensure our dogs are safe. A gate is always closed before the door is answered in case we have runners. Otherwise, our fur babies have free reign of the house, but they are usually following me everywhere I go.

A typical day
I love going for long walks or just chilling and snuggling with my fur babies. Whatever their energy level, I am ready to meet their needs. We take family walks at a near by park and your fur baby will join us on these trips. We are working on a fenced-in area for our Rover friends to enjoy our shaded backyard. This will be coming soon. Right now, we are currently cutting down and clearing out the back wooded lot area. We have a crew coming soon to remove a lot of the wood and leaves. After that we hope to put in a fence.

My favorite breed is “rescued”. I am a foster dog mom for Pet Connect Rescue & Canine and Kitties although I’m not a really good foster since I ended up adopting 4 so far! I now only take transients (temporary care) or emergencies since my family says I risk turning into the crazy dog lady. 😂. I thought Rover would be a great opportunity to continue my work with dogs and not run the risk of adopting any more! I work from home full time so your fur baby will have constant care during the day. If we go out, it would only be a couple of hours since we do not like to leave our furry friends alone too long. I know it’s scary trusting someone to take care of your fur babies so I will work with you to ensure you know that you are in good hands. I have two children (15 & 18) who also love dogs and are very good with helping me. We are the family who let their dogs sleep in their beds with us. I have a small pack of very friendly small dogs, so your fur baby would need to play well with small dogs and children. I will request a meet and greet to get to know you and your fur baby. This will include a short walk with me and one of my dogs and your fur baby. This usually helps establish our pack mentality and introduce our new pack member. On the day of drop off, your fur baby will spend the first 10-30 minutes with each of my dogs on an individual walk. Again we want to welcome our new pack member slowly and with the least amount of stress as possible. I also love documenting and will send pictures and videos so you are comfortable seeing your fur baby is in good hands. We love our dogs like they are our family, so please don't hesitate to ask as many questions as needed to ensure your comfort and trust in leaving your fur baby with us.
