I wfh twice a week (Tuesday, Friday) and am very active on the weekends. I live in Wandsworth which has lots of lovely parks is very close to Clapham Common and a short train ride from Richmond park. I live with my boyfriend who also has grown up around dogs (black labs and German shepherds) he works from home twice a week on different days to me and will be able to help take of your dog with me. I am able to give morning, lunchtime and evening walks. My flat is on the first floor so easy to pop up and down the stairs for toilet breaks as and when they are needed.

Information Phoebe D. would like to know about your pet

It’s really helpful to know about each dog’s routine and personality ahead of time — things like their energy level, favorite activities, and how they do on walks or around other dogs. I’d also like to know if they have any special needs, health issues, medications, or behavioral quirks (like anxiety, leash pulling, or fear of loud noises). Knowing their feeding schedule, treat preferences, and any house rules is also important for concistency whilst they are away from home.

A typical day

I love making sure every dog I take care of has a great time and feels comfortable while their owner is away. I like to mix fun and exercise depending on their personality that might mean nice long walks, playing fetch, or exploring new routes so they can sniff and discover new things. For high-energy pups, I’ll make sure they get plenty of playtime to burn off that energy, and for more mellow dogs, I’m happy to spend time giving belly rubs, brushing, or just relaxing together. I also enjoy using enrichment games and toys to keep their minds active. My goal is always to make sure they’re happy, safe, and getting lots of love and attention.

Pet care experience

I’ve been around dogs all my life and have experience with a wide range of dog breeds. I grew up with my grandparents Doberman, and dogs at the stables (Jack russels, hounds). I started taking care of dogs when I was 10 and my family got a springer spaniel. I have had 3 springer spaniels as family dogs. I was very hands on with training them as puppies and with our first springer I looked after him at all stages of his life right till the end. The last 5 years I’ve looked after and been around my boyfriend’s German shepherd and 2 golden doodles, my parents 2 springer spaniels, my cousins cocker spaniel and various friends and families labradors and golden retrievers.

Phoebe and her boyfriend are brilliant! My little one is a bit shy/scared of strangers but they made sure she was comfortable. She settled in very well with them and came back a very happy dog. Already booking her next stay with them!

Taffy had great time at Phoebe's on a day boarding. Phoebe had queried about Taffy's needs for meals and how often he will need a toilet break. She was meticulous with the details and helped us to be at ease. I'm sure Taffy will look forward to go back another time soon.

Tiny hasn't stayed with Phoebe for a few months now and was so calm when I left her, I think she remembered her :) She's got to do lots of one of her favourite things today - walking! Thank you for taking Tiny out so much, she will have really enjoyed this :)
