I work full time but from home most Thursdays and always on Fridays. If your dog can be left for up to 8hrs during the day then they can stay outside of the standard Friday-Sunday availability . I live at the end of a private lane with no passing traffic and straight onto fields with plenty of varied walks on our doorstep. I also have a hot water doggie shower so your dogs can get as muddy as they like but will always come home lovely and clean. I live with my partner who also loves dogs and until recently also had a beautiful chocolate lab. Although I will be the carer for your dogs due to his various work travel commitments.

Information Phoebe A. would like to know about your pet

We haven’t got any children in the house although the dogs are great with kids, i have a calm household with extremely quiet surroundings. Please note: No dogs will be allowed to stay that destroyed furniture or chew the interior.

A typical day

We head out nice and early to get a good walk in (approx 3miles off lead), once home they get a yummy treat or doggie ice-pop in the summer before chill-out time. By 5pm the boys are ready for another walk, this could be over the fields or a walk around the village taking in all the smells and meeting lots of people to stimulate their brains (approx 40min) There are lots of dog toys to keep them entertained and have some balls for the garden. Where possible I like to include the dogs in other activities like going to a pub or going to friends houses so they’re not just in the house all the time. Oh and there’s always time for tickles!!! Please note: schedule can be adapted or enhanced to suit your dogs requirements. Please provide information on feeding, commands and about their quirky traits

Pet care experience

I’ve been lucky enough to have a number of dogs over the years, we currently have two cheeky lovable boys. Often helping friends out with there dogs too. We live in a beautiful village with a number of interesting walks. It’s peaceful but exciting and plenty of other furry friends to play with. We love walking and have two dog walks a day (1 long, 1 shorter). We play in our dog friendly garden which backs onto fields and very secure. Plus a hot water dog shower to keep those paws clean after muddy adventures. I will look after and care for your pooch like it was my own, I can continue with training if required and make them feel at home. I understand how anxious it can be leaving your pets behind whilst you’re off on travels or with commitments. I hope upon meeting to reassure you that your dogs will have the most amazing holiday also and be ‘barking’to come back again.

What a great find! Gorgeous home, and Dog mum! Phoebe is so friendly and amazing with the doggos! I felt at home straight away and so did Oscar and Millie, we organised a meet up beforehand to make sure her dogs and ours were good and it worked so so well! Phoebe kept us updated during the weekend whilst we were away and when we got them back, we could tell they’d had the best time!

Phoebe is an amazing dog owner who shows great care for her own dogs as well as striking the right balance between having well behaved dogs out & about, considerate of other dogs & their owners and being nurturing & kind. With a beautiful home in the perfect surroundings for walking over fields as well as having easy access to village walks on hard standing, the house is ideally located. A peaceful and quiet area with lots of exciting areas to explore locally for ideal walks and a relaxing stay for your dog/s with someone who will truly provide the right setting for your pet/s.
