I'm currently working toward my PhD in Pharmacology, so my schedule is flexible with notice. During the week, my availability is best in the evenings, but my weekends are very flexible!

I get along with animals very well and am experienced at reading their body language to be sure I am not over-stepping their boundaries. I love to play with both cats and dogs. I also really enjoy going for walks, so I would love to have a sweet doggy to keep me company! As a pet owner, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to have someone enter your home and watch your baby, so I'm always sure to send lots of pictures and updates. I also have no problem cleaning up if there are any mishaps so you can be sure to come back to a nice, clean home.

I am a somewhat small person, so if you have a very large dog who likes to pull, then I am probably not the best fit. Additionally, if your dog or cat requires medication, information about their favorite food or treat ahead of time would be very helpful.
A typical day
I love to go on walks and it's even more fun to have a furry friend to accompany me! I can take your dog on a nice, long walk with lots of smells along the way. If you have a kitty, I am very good and getting even unplayful cats to feel comfortable to play.

Pet care experience
I grew up with 17 pets! Originally from MN, I grew up on a hobby farm where we had many pets including 2 dogs and 4 cats. I helped take care of our pets as well as neighbors and friends since about 8 years old. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. After college, I worked for about a year at the local humane society where I interacted with all ages and personalities of cats and dogs, as well as gave them medications. This experience allowed me to understand body language to know better how the animal is feeling. Since then, I have watched both cats and dogs for friends. I currently have 2 kitties, and I can't wait to meet your fur baby/babies!
