My husband and I love dogs, love to walk and are right by the Charles River and Commonwealth Avenue. We have looked after friends dogs on many occasions. Labs. Staffies. Pyrenees. Cairns. I grew up with cairns and my husband with poodles. We are dog lovers active walkers and homebodies.

Phillipa is superb. She was very understanding and accommodating in dealing with my dog Leo's separation anxiety. Leo obviously adores her, and from the photos she sent, was very comfortable in her lovely home. He loves walking on the Commonwealth Mall and got a lot of exercise doing that while I was away. Consider yourself lucky if she has an opening when you need to go away.
Phillipa was wonderful. She was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process of booking, meet and greet, and during the stay. She sent tons of picture updates which was so appreciated. She really seemed to enjoy dogs and spending time with them. My pup was relaxed and happy during the stay.
Phillipa took such good care of our pup, Murph. We could not recommend her more. Our dog is a Wheaten Terrier, so he loves a lot of walks and he got his fill strolling all over Boston while we were out of town. She sent us lots of pics and he was clearly a content and well cared for boy while we were away. If you are looking for a caring pet sitter who will treat your dog like their own, look no further than Phillipa!
Porter had a WONDERFUL time with Phillipa! She spoiled him with many long walks, treats, and lots of love! He came home calm and happy! Looking forward to the next time Porter gets to stay with her, she's simply the best!
Phillipa is an excellent sitter! She is very responsive to messages, sends lots of pictures, and took our dog on long walks every day. Her home has plenty of space for a dog to run around, and no shortage of dog toys. We- dog included- had a great experience!
Phillipa was so lovely and caring. I feel confident that my dog will be in good hands the next time he stays with her!

Schedule
I’m retired and active. We are well placed to walk esplanade. Emerald necklace. Commonwealth avenue. We both love dogs but are unable to be permanent parents right now so this is a good solution.

We have a 2,000 square foot walk up in the back bay. With nice carpets and sofas to nap on. It’s open plan light and airy. No garden but right next to parks
A typical day
When I’ve looked after other dogs we are up and out by 8 am. Back for breakfast. Then usually a long early afternoon walk and supper at 5pm. We are home bodies so there is always a human to hang out with. Another pee around 9 pm the bed.

- Honest assessment of temperament would be good to know. Any health issues. Good with kids / other dogs etc ? Is the dog able to climb stairs and how is she / he at night ? Good sleeper or restless. All that helps.
