Pretty open to all requests and try to accommodate for last minute scenarios. I retired semi early so my schedule is fairly adaptable to all.

Former 5-star sitter here, making my grand return to Rover after a brief (and not-so-passionate) detour into another career. Turns out, nothing compares to caring for animals—so I’m back doing what I genuinely love. I grew up in a home that could only be described as “animal-enthusiast central”—dogs, cats, the occasional parakeet, even a mouse or two. Caring for animals has quite literally been a lifelong habit, not just a job. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all temperaments and breeds (honestly, I haven’t met one I didn’t love). I’ve also volunteered with Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary, which deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care. I’m comfortable with: • Administering medications • Multi-pet households • Special routines and quirks • Keeping your home in order (mail, trash bins, etc.) I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I give my own—reliable, attentive, and always tuned in to what your pet needs to feel safe and happy. Because I currently have a few stray cats who’ve decided my yard is their forever home, I’m offering in-home care only—overnights, drop-ins, or custom schedules that fit your needs. If you’re looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being, I’d love to connect. Let’s set up a meet & greet and make sure it’s the perfect fit—for you and your pets 🐶🐱
Information Phillip S. would like to know about your pet
The more I know, the better I can care for your pet like you do! I always appreciate details like: • Feeding schedules and portions • Medications or health needs • Energy level and exercise preferences • Behavioral quirks (escape artists, shy at first, selective listeners 😄) • Triggers or things to avoid • Favorite toys, treats, and routines • Any house rules you want reinforced No detail is too small—I genuinely want to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and understood while you’re away. Think of me as stepping in to keep their world as normal (and happy) as possible.
A typical day
Fun looks a little different for every pet—and I’m here for all of it. Whether your pup is a full-on adventurer who loves long walks and playtime, or more of a “sniff every leaf and take it slow” type, I match their energy. Expect a mix of walks, play sessions, enrichment games, and of course…quality cuddle time (for those who require it—which is most, let’s be honest). I love keeping pets mentally engaged too, whether that’s simple training refreshers, hide-and-seek with treats, or just giving them lots of attention and conversation throughout the day. For cats, I’m equally invested—playtime, feather toys, laser pointer Olympics, or just being a calm, cozy presence if they prefer their space. I aim to keep their routine familiar, stress-free, and maybe even a little more fun while you’re away.

Reviews
I've known Phillip since childhood, we used to watch him after school and we had several cats, and 1 dog at that time. He was and is a really sweet and easy going person, and animals and healthy food seem to be his obsession.
