We have an acre property in a quiet subdivision. We do have a dog door that opens into a fenced backyard. We also have woods with walking trails and a mile long, hiking trail along the Yellowbreeches. We do allow pets on the furniture as well as in our bed, if your pet is comfortable with that. If your pet is more comfortable in their crate at night, that is fine with us as well. Your pet will get lots of exercise and multiple daily walks. If we are pet sitting in your home, we will abide by all your household rules and requests. It’s all about making your pet feel safe and comfortable while you are away.

I love outside time. I go for walks in our neighborhood and on the hiking trail along the Yellow Breeches creek. We have a large park within walking distance and a nice dog park just a few minutes drive away. We also love to play fetch and interactive treat games.

I have worked with animals since I was 14 years old when I began working in my fathers veterinary practice, doing treatments, shots, taking blood, and just walking the animals. For the past dozen years, we have watched, pets for neighbors, friends, and family. With nine adult children, there’s always a pet to take care of. We have been foster parents to mama dogs with Homeward Bound. We simply love animals.

My dog is a challenge and I appreciate Maria and the care she provided to my dog. Will definitely use her again!
They always do a great job with our dog and we always feel safe and comfortable leaving him there.
They were great the first time we booked. Super accommodating and then when I rebooked it seemed so great- my dogs were so excited to see Maria tha it made me feel so comfortable. But then there were so many issues- her dog got into my dog’s meds that should have been out of reach. I got a text that my dog who has never had an issue bit her grandson - who she said was teasing him and knew it was his fault so didn’t tell them. When her profile says no kids. Then when I go to pick them up she said my girl bit 3 people- who I never even knew were there- people renting rooms, etc. my girl has never had an issue like this and it makes me concerned. Maria was kinda mad nice about everything but it seems like my dogs were not as safe as I had originally thought.
