Hi, I’m Phillip—a Navy Veteran, former nurse, and lifelong animal lover with more than 40 years of pet-care experience. For years, pet care has been a family effort. My children helped provide the affection, playtime, and extra attention that made every visiting dog feel like part of our home. Now that the kids have gone off to college and I have started Willamette Living Group, our family is moving into a new chapter. As a result, I’m gradually winding down my pet-care business and am no longer accepting new clients. I will continue offering limited boarding, day care, and house-sitting availability to established clients during this transition. All confirmed reservations will be honored. Existing clients can continue to expect the same dependable, personal care: 🐾 A safe, clean, low-volume environment without crowded kennels 🐾 Personal care from me—never outsourced 🐾 Experience with medications, senior dogs, and pets requiring additional attention 🐾 Regular updates, photos, and videos while you’re away 🐾 A smoke-free home and the reliability and service ethic you have come to expect It has been a privilege to care for so many wonderful pets and to earn the trust of their families. Was able to take on a last-second request and was flexible. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. My pup was visibly bummed to be saying bye which just goes to show how well taken care of he was!
Great communication. Our Great Weimaremer, Hugo, who can be discerning around men, loved Phillip. At the meet and greet Hugo was ready to go home with him! ;>) Everything left neat and tidy and animals were well-cared for.
Phillip had great communication. Drop off amd puck up was smooth. He is flexible and dogs were well cared for. We liked getting updates and photos along the way. First time we booked a sitter so we were more nervous but the notes and pics helped us be at ease.
Milo had a great stay with Phillip! Came home happy and ready to catch up on snuggles. So glad to have found a great place for Milo to vacation when he can’t travel with me.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone or unattended. My day includes frequent breaks for walks, play, and fresh air—short outings during work hours and a longer evening stroll in nearby fields or parks. Pets stay supervised, engaged, and always treated like family.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a secure, fenced yard and dedicated indoor spaces for rest and play. On walks, pets are always leashed and supervised with calm, positive care. As a Navy Veteran and former nurse, I bring reliability, attention to detail, and a strong duty of care. Pet care is a family effort in our home—together, we ensure your pet receives consistent love, supervision, and comfort every day.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy a balanced day filled with exercise, enrichment, and relaxation. We’re located near Walker Middle School with access to large open fields for safe, on-leash play and exploration. Just minutes from Wallace Marine Park, we also enjoy scenic trails and wooded paths for longer walks and new scents to discover. From fetch in the field to calm evening strolls, your pet will stay active, engaged, and happy throughout their stay.
