Phil is great. We left him to tend to our two large dogs over the holidays and he went so far and beyond what we expected with a sitter. Phil not only kept us updated through his entire stay by letting us know when they were going for walks, when they were fed and when he was leaving but he sent a bunch of photos of both dogs and even gps maps of where they went and the distances walked. Besides that, we came home and our house was immaculate. Not so much as a left over pizza box laying about. Super nice guy, very friendly with us, very affectionate with the dogs during the meet and greet. We would recommend Phil to anybody (except for when we need him....).

Phillip was easy to work with and our cat loved him! Would recommend.

Dear Phil and Rover Clients, We had the pleasure of meeting Phil through the Rover website this past April. Our family had planned a nine day trip to Disney World Florida and we needed someone very trustworthy to watch our 5 pound “Fur baby” Bijou, a little Morkie dog of 1 1/2 years old. Phil was very willing to come over to our house for a pre-interview. I could tell from our initial meeting that he was a dog lover. And I was confident that he would take good care of Bijou. Phil showed enthusiasm at the prospect of coming to live with Bijou for nine days in our home. He made us feel comfortable. I was very happy that Bijou would have company and that she would be able to stay in her home and eat her regular food and keep her normal routine. Phil came and went from his other jobs using a car and when necessary bus transit. He took Bijou on very long walks and also explored our neighbourhood with the dog at great lengths using a GPS tracker to show us his route (much further than we have explored, lol). He sent daily photos and videos of our dog, which always sent the kids running to get me saying that “Phil had texted a new picture/video, come see!” When we returned from our vacation, the look on my dog’s face was contentment. She did not show any signs of anxiety or distress, as she had shown in the past having stayed at a kennel. I highly recommend Phil and I have also rebooked him for our coming vacations this summer. The only thing I would do differently if I was to go on such a long vacation again (over a week) would be to have the dog professionally groomed once. The reason for this is because Bijou‘s fur texture is high maintenance because she is a Morkie. And also because it rained quite a bit while we were gone she could have used a professional de-matting process. I hope this helps in your decision for finding a reliable dog sitter. Phil is great with Hugo. He gives great walks and lots of great photos. Hugo looks forward to seeing Phil! Highly recommend him. He is responsible and conscientious.

Philipp was able to watch our puppy on short notice when our other dog sitter was ill and couldn’t make it. He let us know when he arrived and left so we were aware of what was going on. He met our needs and did a very long walk which is great for our borer collie mix, since he has such high energy. :) thanks again

If you are looking for someone reliable to take care of your fur babies, you are looking at the right person! I have a 6 and a half month Golden Retriever, and Phil has been helping me out with him since he was about 3 months old. Phil initially came to my house to meet myself and Quinn, to ensure that all 3 of us were a good fit for each other, which I appreciated. Phil has helped me out over the past 3 and a half months in a way that I can’t even express! I’m a paramedic and work 12 hour shifts, both days and nights. He’s came to my house anywhere from 30 minutes for a simple walk and play ( break from the crate ), to an all day and even the odd overnight to not only walk Quinn, but actually spend some time with him as if I would when I’m home. For the periods of time that are multiple hours when Phil comes over, he also ensures that Quinn gets his daily meals, water, plays, potty breaks and treats! I also have a 8 year old called Oliver, who doesn’t require much attention, however if need be Phil is always more than happy to give Oliver his meal as well, and let him out in the backyard! Quinn absolutely loves Phil. I mean he’s a 6 month old golden retriever, so he loves all people, but there’s very few people he runs full speed ahead to the door to greet, and Phil is one of them. During Phil’s stays, he is great with communicating with me, whether it’s texting to keep me updated, or ask questions, or send pictures of Quinn’s walks and play times. He also sends their walking route once they’ve returned home. At the end of each month Phil likes to send out a report of the previous month which covers costs, pictures, routes walked, and a detailed report of things he’s noticed/liked/disliked about his visits ( don’t think I’ve ever had a dislike from him! ). Overall, Phil is the best dog walker/sitter I’ve had. He’s always on time, always easy to get ahold of, and also extremely flexible with his hours. I have had a few times where I needed to call him last minute, and he does his best to come as much as possible, though you can always count on him when giving him a little bit of notice! I feel as though when Phil is over, 100% of his attention is on Quinn and Oliver, and that he has a true passion for animals. I understand that leaving your pet with someone different can be unnerving, however I highly recommend phil for your little ones. He won’t let you down!
