Availability
I am currently working from home so I am around mostly all day to hang out with your dog. Nowhere in the house is really off limits to dogs, so they can find their favorite spot.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard that is very dog-friendly (nothing so precious that a dog can't walk on it or pee on it). We can follow your training rules or just keep it loose. I have a pretty heavy hand with treats if left to my own devices, but will follow your guidelines. Dogs are welcome on the furniture. I only take one dog at a time, unless the dogs already live together, so your pup will get all the attention.

Information Philip S. would like to know about your pet
Any meds? Dietary concerns? How are they with other dogs, on leash and off? Favorite toys? Things they love (and anything they hate)? Are there training things you are working on that you would like me to keep up? General dog personality (clingy, aloof, rambunctious, mellow, persnickety, goofy, etc.).
A typical day
Get up and head out to the backyard for a pee. Have some breakfast. Have some skritches. Play a little (gently, if dog just ate). Hang out while I get a little work done. Take a stroll around the neighborhood or to one of the many parks nearby. I love the dog park and am happy to take your dog there if you wish. Dinner, treats, playing with favorite toys, maybe a second walk later if the dog is into it.

I love big dogs
Pet care experience
I've had two Hounds and am good with big dogs who like to roughhouse and/or snuggle. Smaller dogs are great, too. I love walks and am not bothered by Seattle weather. I love playing with energetic dogs and lounging with mellower pups. Experienced with (and happy to) look after older dogs who might need extra TLC.
Reviews

This is our third time leaving Tommy with Philip and his family. They are very reliable, responsible and took good care of our boy each time. We felt at peace leaving our Tommy with Philip each time. We can’t recommend him enough.
Philip took great care of our 12 year old Lab for 10 days. It was a long time for Freddie to be away from home, but upon pickup, I could tell he had been loved and had a very happy time with Philip and his family.

Philip was so good with our first doggy (1 yr old puppy) and his care was excellent with our second (3yr old choc lab). Steve had lovely park walks, mental stimulation and came back very happy doggie. Highly recommend!

Phil was awesome with my dog. He got back to us relaxed and ready to sleep. Thanks Phil!
