Pet care experience

A tail-wagging retreat for your pup

My wife and I have been dog-sitting for the past 3 years and it’s the best job ever! We have experience with big dogs, small dogs, old dogs and pups. Our day jobs are remote so we’re home all day and are able to give your dog the attention it needs. We know leaving your baby with strangers is nerve wracking. To ease the nerves, we do our best to update you with pictures and videos every few hours, sometimes more frequent.

Philip and his wife were awesome sitters! Very attentive and communicative throughout my pup’s stay. They have a perfect little setup with a fenced in yard. I would gladly use them again!

Sitters are very responsive and send multiple photo and video updates every day. Maple always looks so happy and calm with them.

Schedule

We take our dog, Mojo, out on walks every day and bring him on longer hikes at least once a week. We spend a lot of time caring and loving on our Mojo! Mojo also has a congenital heart disease and needs special care so we have a lot of experience administering pills, if that’s what your doggie needs. We also have tons of mental stimulation toys so they don’t get bored throughout the day. Since we’re both remote, we’re able to keep the routine that your dog is used to, whether that be play time, walks, or just snuggles.

Safety, trust & environment

Unless your dog needs space restriction, we leave our doggy door open so they can go in and out whenever they want in our private fenced yard. Some dogs will learn the door in no time while others won’t. In the case that they don’t, we’ll let them out every couple of hours. We close the doggy door if we leave the house and have cameras all over the house to check on them. The safety of your dog (and ours) is extremely important to us. If needed, we have a pet den to put your doggies in. We use this pet den if puppies (or adult doggies) need some space restriction, like if they’re not potty trained yet or if they’re chewing on things they’re not supposed to. This is to keep them safe from possibly getting trapped in things or chewing on dangerous things like electrical cords. We rarely have to use this den though, most dogs we watch just hangs with us in the living room, our office and bedroom! Lastly, we keep our house clean and tidy, removing any hazards for dogs.
