RATES AT BOTTOM OF PROFILE MIN 2 DAY STAY/CHARGE Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and former owner of three Jack Russell Terriers—yes, all at the same time! I absolutely love the breed and have many years of experience caring for energetic, affectionate dogs as well as special needs. (Diabetic, Blind, Special Diets, Medication, Injections etc) Your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re here. I only take up to three dogs at a time (5 on weekends/holidays) so every pup gets lots of attention, supervision, and love. Dogs can enjoy playtime in my secure, fully fenced backyard and walks around the neighbourhood when the weather is nice. My almost 18-year-old daughter is also very experienced and we both enjoy spending time with the dogs, whether it’s playing, relaxing, or just keeping them company throughout the day. I’m also very comfortable administering medications or injections if needed, as I’ve had to do this many times with my own dogs over the years and several recurring clients. I always encourage a meet-and-greet before booking so you and your pup can feel completely comfortable with my home and the environment they’ll be staying in. Phil took excellent care of our dog Coco. She came home happy, healthy, and clearly had a wonderful time. Phil sent photos throughout the stay and his communication was great from start to finish. We will definitely book with him again. Highly recommend!
We left our dog Luigi with Phil for 6 nights while we were on the Rideau Canal with friends. Phil sent me photos and a video when I asked and communication was always prompt.
From the moment we met Phil, we knew we had made the right choice. He even gave me tips on how to administer medicine for my dog before he had even met me! Rest assured, your pet will be well looked after while you are away. Highly recommend! Definitely book with him!

Schedule
I am now working M-F 9-5pm outside my home and my teen daughter is home with online schooling alternate weeks. I also go for walks when weather permits to do so.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully secured fenced yard with a locked gate 24/7 and my main floor is available for the pup/dog at all times. He/she is also allowed on sofa. If your pup cannot have any other dogs on site, then the rate is $80/night.
A typical day
When it’s tight for time, I like to use my backyard as a play ground for the pup(s)/dog(s). Otherwise I go for a 15-30 minute walk all dependent on weather.

- If your pup/dog has any special needs, rest assured that I am capable of these duties as well. From needles, to oral medication to special timed diets. Small extra fee for meds per meal per day is $5. Also if you wish to have your dog as the only one then the fee per night is $80 Dog Rates Up to 20lbs $45/day - Hollidays $55/day Up to 40lbs $55/day - Hollidays $65/day May make exceptions for dogs over 40lbs-60lbs.
