LAX Family w/ Fenced Backyard
Last year we said goodbye to our thirty pound poodle mix after 17 amazing years. Our kids, ages 15, 12, 9, and 5 have had a dog in the home all their lives and while we aren't ready to get a new dog just yet we would love to take care of yours! My husband Liam, always had dogs in his family’s house growing up. We have a spacious home and fenced back yard in a quiet Hawthorne neighborhood close to LAX. It’s easy for us to let the dogs out back throughout the day and to go for frequent walks around the block. We used Rover for our own dog so we know how great it feels to know that your pup is being taken care of like family while you are away. Poodles, poodle mixes, and smaller dogs are preferred but there’s always exceptions.

Phet and her family were fabulous! They loved our dog, Pepper, as if she were their own. Our dog had some unexpected medical issues right before our trip that required medication and Phet was so kind and willing to support our senior dog. Phet also communicated frequently with pictures and updates. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Pepper was taken care of in such a loving home. Highly recommend!
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Phet and family treated my dog Ruby like one of their own and gave her so much love and attention. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such caring hands. The updates and photos were wonderful, and I could tell my dog was truly happy and comfortable. Phetkhanha welcomed my fur babies with opened arms. I’m happy the dogs were able to get comfortable with her and her daughter. She sent updates and pictures; each time dogs appeared happy. She communicated early to ensure my smaller dog was eating appropriately. Very thankful I was lucky enough to book 2 dogs with her on short notice. I would definitely consider her for the future.

Schedule
My husband Liam, and I both work from home so there's always an adult around to make sure the dogs are taking care of. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's easy to take the dogs on walks. And with our backyard we can let the dogs out for frequent bathroom breaks if needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a completely fenced in back yard that our dog loved in his time here. Our older children are at school or activities for most of the day so the dogs will generally have the run of the house.
A typical day
We'll typically walk the dogs twice a day, depending on their energy level. We live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks and near several parks. The fenced in backyard is a nice and calm oasis for frequent bath room breaks.
