Peyton can care for
Availability
I’m currently working part time at a doggy daycare and part time at an ABA clinic. It is a dream of mine to work full time as an animal caretaker and dog trainer in the future! With my jobs and other obligations, I do not offer full time care and my overnight hours are not guaranteed. However, I do take your pets “can be left alone” time into consideration when working around my schedule and always provide atleast 2 drop in visits throughout the day :) I always do stay overnight when house sitting, but please understand that those hours aren’t guaranteed and can range from 8-12 hours. If your pet requires special hours, I can always accommodate if given sufficient notice so please just make sure to let me know!

I have had two dogs of my own, both crossed the rainbow bridge this past year. I miss them dearly and hope to invite a new friend into my life soon. I have experience handling large dogs, as my late dog Paolo was a 165lb cane corso and an absolute love bug. I am K9 first-aid and CPR certified and have lots of hands on experience with animal behavior and health.
Information Peyton V. would like to know about your pet
Verifying instructions on medications and feeding are very important to me! I also like to know what games your pup loves to play and what I can do to entice eating if needed. Any and all info is greatly appreciated, even if it’s just a tiny detail!
A typical day
I am a sucker for sunsets and enjoy soaking in the scenery with my pups on a nice walk. My dogs enjoy lounging around and playing an occasional game of fetch! Snuggling is a must , of course.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets since I was 17 years old. I started my journey working at a dog training facility and later at a doggy daycare, where I was responsible for maintaining the well-being, safety, and overall quality of care for each pet. I now work part-time as a Rover sitter alongside my work with children. With nearly 6 years of hands-on animal care experience, I truly love what I do. I also hold a certification in animal behavior and hope to one day open my own dog training business. Most recently, I earned my RBT certification, which allows me to work in ABA therapy with children with autism. I recently moved to the Fort Collins area from the Denver metro area and am excited to connect with new families and pets in the community. I take great pride in providing dependable, compassionate, and attentive care. My goal is always to make both pets and pet parents feel comfortable, supported, and confident while in my care. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being will always be my top priority!

Reviews

Peyton was great - Comet loves when she stays!

Comet loved hanging out with Peyton. Will definitely book with her again!

Peyton was great watching my dog overnight! Would definitely ask her to dog sit again!

Payton🦄🧁🍭 was absolutely absolutely amazing. I am glad that I found her on Rover instead of boarding my dogs. She went over and beyond just watching my dogs. Kilo was the one that I was worried about meeting her, but he took to her like he had known her and boy that made me feel so relieved and comfortable. While weI was on vacation. I had a water leak and she quickly notified me of it or I would’ve come home to a huge huge mess. She sent me photos and we were able to take care of it. I will continue to use Rover because they also do background checks on their clients. thank you, Payton. You were totally awesome and I appreciate every thing you did for my dogs.
