I am a graduate nursing student who has a lot of free time during the week and weekends, as I only have class certain days of the week. I find myself with not much to do on my free days and would love to use this time to support pet owners while they are away from home.

I am very attune to the pet’s routine and try to stick to this as much as possible, as I know they are missing their routine with their owners so much already. I love to spend quality time with the pets that I am watching, whether this involves taking them on long walks, visits to the dog park, or providing many pets. For house sitting, I am a thoughtful guest who keeps spaces clean and respects the client’s home. In the past, I usually bring my own meal-prepped food so that cooking in the home is not necessary other than to heat items up.

Let me know what your pet is a fan of…and what they aren’t (parks, other dogs/cats, etc). I try to stick to their routine as much as possible but if there are special things that your pet would like to do if we have extra time (go to the beach or a hike), I would love to be able to do that while you are away from home!
A typical day
I love to spend quality time with the pets I watch. For dogs, I enjoy taking them on long walks or hikes if that is something they enjoy, dog parks or just to the back yard for senior pet citizens. Playing with the pets using their toys as well as a brush session are some other activities that are always a highlight for me. Snuggles and pets are always a plus!
