I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like a family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay.

I was very anxious about leaving my 14 year old ShihPoo for over a week, but Petra was the perfect solution. She let me bring my dog to meet her months before the trip, and made arrangements to have her visit a few hours weeks before my trip. When I dropped my dog off, I was worried about how she would adjust to a new place and person, but Petra made her feel right at home. She was spoiled with daily walks, swimming, and lots of attention. I received numerous pictures of her throughout my time away, and I was able to enjoy my trip seeing how happy my dog was with Petra. I can’t imagine a better person to care for my little fur baby.
Petra takes great care of my dogs and cats, giving them lots of attention with love, walks, treats, and brushing! I have used her pet/house sitting services in the past and she is always the first sitter that I look for! I highly recommend her.
Made me feel a lot better leaving my dog by receiving pictures and updates from petra regularly. My dog is elderly but hyper, and I can tell he had a extremely fun weekend because he slept for a few hours when he got home. He is a very happy puppy and I will definitely be back for our next trip! Petra was wonderful! She responsible, very pleasant, and good our little terrier mix, Jack. I will definitely ask her back the next time we need a dog sitter! Not only did she take great care of Jack, she fed the birds and left the house very clean and tidy. When our flight was delayed coming home, she offered to stay at the house longer so Jack would not be alone as long. Petra is awesome! Anne
Bailey is so happy she got to stay at home with Petra. She is so much calmer when I have someone to take care of her. Petra sent daily pictures which was fun and reassuring. Finding good people thru Rover has been so helpful. Will definitely reach out to Petra again.
Petra is the most dependable pet sitter! She walks my dogs daily and sends daily photos of my dogs and cats. The house is neat and clean when I return home. I highly recommend her as a house/pet sitter!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs.

My home, farm in the woods, is a dog paradise where they can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.
A typical day
We walk around my property multiple times a day, we sniff everything and run freely, we visit our pond in the woods and then we relax in my house.
