On a mission to meet more dogs!
I’ve always been an animal lover and my family mostly had birds when I was a kid so I would jump at any chance to take care of my friend’s cats or dogs for short or longer periods of time, taking them for walks or playing with them or watching them when they were away. My family got a puppy 6 years ago so I’ve also had experience getting him trained quickly!

Petra took very good care of Thor and Thor enjoyed his stay with her! We received lots of pictures, videos and regular updates and we could see he’s in good hands. It’s was the hottest days of the year and air was polluted with wild fire . Petra ensured Thor doesn’t get exposed by doing short walks. Thank you! We would definitely choose Petra again.
We cannot recommend Petra highly enough! She took care of our dog Maggie for almost three weeks, and from the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing Maggie was in such loving and capable hands. Petra kept us updated with photos and messages throughout our trip, and it was obvious how comfortable and happy Maggie was. Maggie can be an anxious dog, but seeing her completely relaxed, playing, and even lying belly-up—a position she only uses when she feels totally safe and secure—gave us so much peace of mind. Petra went above and beyond to make Maggie feel at home. She even let Maggie enjoy baths, one of her absolute favourite things. It was clear that Petra genuinely cared for Maggie and treated her like one of her own. Coming home to a happy, relaxed dog is the best feeling, and we are so grateful for the exceptional care Petra provided. We would absolutely trust her with Maggie again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and trustworthy pet sitter.
Petra was fantastic with Maggie! She loved daycare so much she pouted all the way home. As an anxious pup parent, I really appreciated how reassuring Petra was. The photos said it all—Maggie belly-up and totally relaxed. I will definitely book again!

Petra has been a fantastic host to my cats - both the social girl Chorki and the shy boy Bhutu. The way bhutu warmed up to her and started demanding cuddles has been nothing short of amazing! Petra kept the kitties well fed and stimulated. She made cozy little beds for them and gave enough space for Bhutu to open up. I'll definitely look forward to boarding the cats with her in future.

I have been working mostly remotely and would love to give myself more opportunities to get some fresh air outside since I don’t have my own pet at the moment.

My apartment is pretty small, but enough room for smaller dogs and cats. There are a lot of dog parks in the area and great spots for walking and playing outdoors, which I enjoy doing with pets I care for.
A typical day
I love playing games with dogs and seeing what tricks they know. I enjoy walks with dogs and finding dog parks or other interesting areas to run around with and exploring the occasional pet store.
