I am currently working part time so mondays tuesdays wednesdays and thursdays I am Almost always available. I walk my own dog daily as well so I must put aside about 40 minutes for that daily but since it is summer I have plenty of time for walking.

My dog does not live in my home with me so when pet sitting I am available to give your dog my full attention. I enjoy walking and live within walking distance to a dog park if your dog is energetic, but can also stay home as long as needed and read/study of your dog is older or low energy. I am very good at picking up on canine body language and can guarantee I can identify what will make your dog feel at home.

A typical day
I love walking dogs to the beach near my house because it can be very exciting and tiring so that when they get home they are ready to nap. The dog park I go to is also within good range of where a live, and is right off of the levy so I usually take my dog there to play, and if it seems too crowded for him he can enjoy walking the levy and seeing gerbils and birds instead.

I have babysat and walked dogs since I was 8. I aspire to work in pet care and have experience caring for feeding bathing and walking all kinds of dogs in my life. Being around all kinds of animals brings me joy.

Petra is amazing with animals, she really connects with them. She has cared for my dog, 2 cats, and leopard gecko for long periods of time and they always appear happy and well cared for upon my return. She not only takes care of their needs, but she spends time with them, giving the attention they miss when I’m out of town or working long hours. I recommend her for all animals, large and small.
