I don't have a yard, but I am near a park where a lot of people walk their dogs. I really enjoy spending time with animals. On this site, the pictures of the dogs I have cared for don't show the dogs on leashes, but I am very conscientious about leash laws and poop scooping while in the neighborhood. I am also considerate of neighbors who ask that dogs not use their land for bathroom breaks.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or if your dog has any behaviors that I can keep in mind and account for. If boarding at my place, I prefer small dogs, not medium or large dogs. If I'm staying at the pet's home, I don't have a preference.
A typical day
I love to play with pets. Balls and toys are essential for pets to get exercise and stimulation. When walking the dog, I understand they need time to explore and communicate even if the walk does not always follow a straight line. There are places to walk that offer dogs chances to get fresh air and exercise.

Peter was great with our 13 year old senior chihuahua/pomeranian named Blue! Blue had a great time at the park with Peter and going on walks. We would rebook again! :)
Peter cared for my cat Vortex when my husband and I traveled a lot for work. Peter made sure Vortex had food and water and cuddles. It was a good sign to see Vortex warm up to Peter right away, sensing he was a safe person. When we got home, Vortex was always happy and everything was in order. I would highly recommend Peter as a pet sitter.
Peter took great care of my Corgi and Golden Retriever when I was on vacation. My golden needs regular medication and regular walks. The dogs were happy and safe with Peter. I'd highly recommend Peter!
