Safety, trust & environment
Your fur babies will fit in as if they are our own. Our daughter is educated on dog safety and is very calm and loving, she knows when to give a dog space if needed. We have a spacious home with 2 living rooms, and we converted our garage into a mancave/dog hangout with tons of dog beds and toys. Our home is spacious enough that if a dog is nervous/scared, we can allow them to have their own space to settle in.

A typical day
We wake up around 6:30-7am, let the dogs out to potty, feed breakfast and play in the backyard. We have chill time and hang around the house or go on a walk (depending on the needs of the pups). We let the pups out in the yard every 2 hours.

Pet care experience
My wife, Christina and I have a passion for caring for dogs. We have two pups that we fostered and ended up adopting. We recently moved to Portland from Alaska where my full time hobby was dog sitting. We had multiple families who trusted us with their pets. In our free time we enjoy helping local rescues and fostering pups in need. We treat your fur babies as our own. Our dogs have been around dogs from 4 pounds to 150 pounds and get along great with everyone, even senior dogs. We have been fostering and boarding pups for years now and have experience with all type of dogs. From puppies to senior dogs with medical issues, and even dogs who have behavioral issues.
Reviews

We found a second family for our pup! Our Rottweiler is sweet but needs lots of structure and attention. Peter and his family create m the perfect space for dogs to integrate into a new environment. It’s often hard to let go and trust your pet will be happy and safe while you’re away - with this family - there is never a single worry and you can let any anxiety go while you travel.

Peter was able to watch Tuesday at the last minute while we were traveling. He was friendly and quick to respond and we will definitely bring Tuesday back again!

Peter took the time to get to know our rescue. Met with us at a park and at their home to evaluate the fit. She has PTSD/anxiety so he created a “safe” area for her to chill and provided daily updates while we were on vacation. Thank you for taking such good care of our pupper!

The perfect experience for an old dog with some extra medical needs! Peter was responsive, flexible and so caring with my boy! During pick up, it was clear how much Guinness enjoyed his time as he came out to say hello to me and then promptly turned around to try and go back into Peter’s house which is pretty much the best sign you can get! So happy to have a great option for daycare and boarding!
