My wife, Christina and I have a passion for caring for dogs. We have two pups that we fostered and ended up adopting. We recently moved to Portland from Alaska where my full time hobby was dog sitting. We had multiple families who trusted us with their pets. In our free time we enjoy helping local rescues and fostering pups in need. We treat your fur babies as our own. Our dogs have been around dogs from 4 pounds to 150 pounds and get along great with everyone, even senior dogs. We have been fostering and boarding pups for years now and have experience with all type of dogs. From puppies to senior dogs with medical issues, and even dogs who have behavioral issues.

Our nervous Aussie Labradoodle was did great boarding with Peter. She ate her food, slept and took her meds without freaking out. We were sure, as a veteran, Peter could handle her if she did freak out. She felt safe enough to stay calm with him. We’ll definitely ask Peter to board her the next time we travel.
Rex had a great time and Peter took fantastic care of him.
I had plans fall through when my friends and I were planning to go to the Beaver's game and Peter was able to accommodate us that morning! Kuma usually gets separation anxiety but he went with Peter right away and made a new friend. He was very content when I picked him up and I will be booking again.
Highly recommend! So chill, could tell our pup felt right at home.
Peter was amazing with Fred! I could tell he was well cared for. Peter sent us lots of photos. His home was wonderful. We couldn’t be happier.
Peter was amazing! First time my 15 week old puppy was boarded so I was nervous. Peter put it all to rest, took great care of the pup, his dogs played great with my pup, and all with great communication. 10/10 would recommend.

Schedule
In the home is myself, my wife, our 9-year-old daughter and my best friend/Roommate Tristin. Tristin and I are home full-time, and my wife only works part-time, so your pups are never left alone!

Safety, trust & environment
Your fur babies will fit in as if they are our own. Our daughter is educated on dog safety and is very calm and loving, she knows when to give a dog space if needed. We have a spacious home with 2 living rooms, and we converted our garage into a mancave/dog hangout with tons of dog beds and toys. Our home is spacious enough that if a dog is nervous/scared, we can allow them to have their own space to settle in.
Pets
A typical day
We wake up around 6:30-7am, let the dogs out to potty, feed breakfast and play in the backyard. We have chill time and hang around the house or go on a walk (depending on the needs of the pups). We let the pups out in the yard every 2 hours. We do take up to 5 pups at a time and typically have drop offs/pickups everyday, so meeting at our house for a meet & greet can be tricky. I like to meet at Dickinson Park in SW Portland or Durham Dog park in Tualatin. If you would like to see photos of our home to know where your pup will be staying, we have them on our profile or you can ask for them and we will send them over. 😊
