I’m a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and owner of Mindful Animal Training. I have experience caring for and training a variety of animals with a mix of behavior and anxiety problems. I’m also a proud dog dad of a Min Pin, Miniature Schnauzer, and Blue Heeler.

Always 5 stars! We use Peter for all of our boarding and walking needs. Luna absolutely loves going with him and comes home worn out. We always feel at ease when we need to board her with him. :) Thanks again for watching her this weekend!
We left Luna in Peter's care for a week and she came back super happy and he gave a bunch of updates! Peter is truly one of a kind. <3 we will trust him each time we need a puppersitter!
Peter has been a blessing, and handles our dogs perfectly and with such a sweet demeanor!
Chester seems to like peter and loves his walks with him, and I've already noticed him pulling less on our evening walks! Chester comes home excited and sleepy. ? It's good to see a puppy sleeping after being a maniac!
I hired Peter to go to my house for a care visit to take care of and check on my dog. With my busy schedule, I was going to be away from home for about 6 hours and didn’t want to leave my puppy alone while they are still learning potty training. Peter was excellent and a big life saver for me and my puppy!
Peter did an excellent job watching my miniature schnauzer and Doberman while I was on vacation! I had a 9 day vacation and couldn’t take my dogs with me. My dogs are my children and I wanted to ensure I had someone I trusted to care for them. He’s also a dog trainer, so I appreciated him doing free training with them while he baby sat them! Thanks for the extra well behaved fur babies!

I am currently self employed and make my own schedule so I can be pretty flexible. Let me know what you need and I can usually make it work.

I have a spacious fenced in yard for potty breaks and an extra bedroom so your pet can have a nice set up and enjoy a quiet safe space when needed. There is also a pet friendly park with a nice lake right across the street for some fun doggie adventures!

A typical day
I love training and entertaining your dogs. We can go out into the yard for some exercise/play time or go to the park across the street for a nice walk around the lake.
