Pet care experience

Moodys by name but never by nature!

Hi, we are Pete & Emma. Having had pets throughout child and adulthood, we are both well versed in the thoughts that go through your mind when looking to find someone just like you to look after your furry loved ones. We have 1 child (currently still a baby) and share our lives with 'Sirius' a Dalmation we adopted at the age of 1 and it was important for us to know we had someone we could build a relationship with, if we ever needed a service! That's why we joined - for you hopefully!

I can't thank Emma and Pete enough for looking after our dog the first time ever we have left him so long. The process of meeting and greet was great working around me anytime. Sirius has to have a shout out he was a great companion for tino and sure a bubble of joy matching tinos energy perfectly. Thank you for giving him the home away from home feeling and the notes n pics each day really put me at ease!! Xxx

Emma and Pete were amazing with our GSD Axel. He had a great time with their family and loved playing with their Dalmatian Sirius. Emma was fab at keeping in touch with pictures and videos and we knew Axel was well looked after whilst we were away.

Joey was well cared for and came back happy and healthy. Communication was great throughout and will definitely book again in the near future. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for Sitters.

We are so lucky we found Pete, Emma and Sirius the dalmation to look after our dog Misty while we were in holiday, they are such a lovely family and they welcomed Misty into their home for a week making her part of their family. We got regular updates, messages, photos and videos which made a massive difference to our holiday actually seeing her having a fabulous holiday of her own. Everything from the first contact via Rover to the end of Misty's stay was smooth and stress free for us, Pete and Emma are such calm confident people, at our initial meeting at the park we felt very confident they were going to look after Misty as their own and that reassured us we had chosen correctly. I would not hesitate to ask the family to take care of Misty again and if I could give 10 stars in this review that still wouldn't be enough to show how highly we rate them.

Schedule

We walk our own dog a minimum of twice a day, once in the morning by Pete and once in the evening by Emma. Walks generally last a minimum of 30minutes. Pete works from home so there is always someone around, on weekends we usually get out for a longer walk together on a Sunday. So pet care fits nicely into the routine we are able to maintain!

Pets

A typical day

Local dog walks include a usual sniff and wonder across the commons and a bit of stick chasing. Admittedly Sirius is not much of a fetcher so any dogs that love a fetch will be winning here. We play about with command words and hide and seek with little treats. Through the day, toys are scattered about with the odd bit of peanut butter to find. (Of course if this is not in keeping with your wishes we adapt to cater for those needs!)
