Pet care experience

Bring on the pets!

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my profile. Caring for animals is not just something I do, it is something I have loved my entire life. I’m genuinely excited to meet your pet, and whether they have fur, feathers, scales, or fins, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I have experience with a wide range of animals and personalities, from high-energy companions who love long walks or trail jogs to laid-back cuddle experts who prefer the couch and a calm presence. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic medications, and keeping up with any routines that help your pet feel safe and happy. My goal is simple: provide dependable, attentive care while giving you complete peace of mind. You can expect clear communication, updates, photos, and the reassurance that your best friend is in capable hands. I take pride in being patient, gentle, and observant, always paying attention to what your pet needs in the moment. Whether you’re looking for daily walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, or something more customized, I offer flexible services to fit you and your pet’s lifestyle. If there’s anything specific you have in mind, please feel free to message me. I’m more than happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible. I look forward to hearing from you, and even more, I look forward to meeting your bestie and becoming their new favorite human.

I care for the cats in my home with rigorous love and tedious scheduling.. as I do with all animals that are under my watch and care. I'm very Hands-On and flexible with your pet needs. let's have a discussion and talk about everything so that I know how to specifically care for your pet. If your best friend is a picky eater/doesn't like takings medicine/has aggressive tendencies/or is just dealing with mild separation anxiety, we can and will workout a detailed plan to handle any and all situations. I've been doing this a long time and have seen just about everything that your pet can toss at me.. communication is the key so that we can identify the issue and we will overcome it.. at the end of the day I want your pet to enjoy every moment with me while you're away.

Pete was professional and kind. I have two dogs. Tippy loved him (ok he loves everyone) but Nala loved him too ( huge sell)

Pete stayed with our four babies for a week, and everything went great! He followed our instructions, and everything went great, he went above and beyond to make sure our two dogs and two cats felt safe and comfy. He fed them and sang to them just like we would do! We will absolutely reach out to Pete next time we need it!

Pete did an excellent job with our fur babies while we were away! Even our bashful cat Petunia succumbed to his charms. Pete sent us photos multiple times while we were gone. It was reassuring to see our fur-kids doing well. The house was well maintained upon our return. We will be reaching out again to book with Pete.

Aggressive tendencies and triggers...IE (food, people, other animals,or sounds) Does your dog not like to share his food? does he not get along with others? Do loud noises like garbage trucks or fireworks make your pet friend scared? Does your pet have allergies? If so what kinda medications are they on?(something liquid, something pill-shaped or something that I need to inject)? It's important for me to know if I'm feeding it or injecting it or inserting it. Is your pet allowed on the furniture? How well is your dog's knowledge of basic commands? (I use Sit,Down,Stay,Release,Yes,No,Stop and Heel as my basic day to day commands) Does your pet speak English or is it trained in another language? I can use basic commands in English,Spanish,French,German and Japanese so by all means let me know what your pet is more familiar with.. What kind of leash system do you use? (Collar, Harness,Face Leader?) Do you use a leash that is 2 ft 4 ft 15 ft and retractable? Does your dog pull a lot or try to lead on a walk? I personally prefer a 4 ft leash that's not retractable that is preferably attached to a face leader or a harness. I prefer all dogs to walk at my side instead of in front of me or behind me and at PACE with me. With two dogs I like them by my side at the 11:00 and 1:00 position and on pace with me.. The reason I prefer a face leader over everything else is because if you control the head you control the dog and I live by that statement. I am quite strict about proper walking habits so let me know everything about your dog including the equipment that you use on a daily basis.. If you use something I'm not familiar with don't know about or is a novelty by all means show me at the meet and greet and we can go from there.. I will let you know now that I'm not the biggest fan of novelty leashes whether it be one dog or multiple.. I prefer to be in full control on a walk with basic standard equipment. That way I can keep track of and work on bad walking habits I see and address them with you. Does your cat like me out random hours of the day if so what time are those random hours? Does your cat go to the bathroom any place other than the litter box? Is your cat secretly trying to take over the world Does your fish ever wonder why you're staring at it.. All jokes aside all information when it comes to the protection and watch of your best friend is the utmost importance to me. As a former boy scout I live by the motto Always Prepared, because you never know what life's going to throw at you, but no matter what it is I will always be ready for it..
