Experienced dog owner, small, large, old and young
I have had dogs in the home for the past 20 years, ranging from puppies up to 16 year old dogs requiring end of life care. I sadly lost my dog earlier this year and now that I work away 2 days a week, I cannot commit to another dog of my own but feel I have plenty of support to offer other dog owners, and I genuinely love all dogs. I have experience of a range of ages, sizes and breeds (ranging from 5kg up to 35kg) and have experience of dogs who do and don't get along! I have experience of crate training dogs and will gladly support this if required. I also have a vast amount of experience with dogs who suffer from anxiety. Letting go of the dogs at the end of boarding is always hard and they all leave little paw prints on my heart, but I firmly believe they remember their stay as a happy time with me, just as we remember our holidays. I hope knowing this enables the dog parents to enjoy worry free time without their best friend, knowing they are having the best time.

Pete was absolutely amazing with our Shawn over the weekend, we felt like our dog wasn’t just left with a sitter but was on his very own holiday! Shawn got tons of activity, love and interaction and loved every minute there, and we got lots of photos and updates about his stay. We’ll absolutely book him in again!
Pete was fantastic with Lola, gave her lots of love and patience whilst in his care. Lola is a GSD so can be anxious in new surroundings and really doesn’t like other dogs. The care and attention she received was excellent. Great communication and I also got some really lovely photos of Lola. You can tell that Pete truly is a dog person and has a passion for dogs, his love for them makes him an extra special sitter. I wouldn’t hesitate in letting Pete look after her again. We really appreciated the help especially with pick up and drop off. Thanks again Pete! 🙂
Pete was incredible as always - Hugo always loves his time here and returns calm and happy. Thanks again for taking such good care of him!
Due to getting married we had to find someone outside of our family to look after Walter for a few days. Walt is a border collie so has lots of quirks and can be tricky to navigate sometimes. Pete did a brilliant job and we felt totally at ease knowing he was in safe hands. Thanks so much Pete!!

Schedule
I work away 2 days a week, but work from home the remaining days with flexible working. With sufficient notice I can jiggle these days around, and I am available most weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced garden where dogs can enjoy a variety of textures and smells, and live on the coast so plenty of coastal and countryside walks available right outside the front door. The house is safe and secure with a good level of separation in rooms, should this be required. Whilst in my care, the dogs will not be left alone at any point and will be looked after as if they are my own.
A typical day
Dogs will be walked as per your schedule on a variety of walks both countryside and coastal, whilst weather permitting there will be permanent access to the large garden for exercise. I am a keen photographer and believe that everyone deserves beautiful pictures of their dogs, so I suspect you will also come away with some snaps of your dog as well.
