Experienced dog owner, small, large, old and young
I have had dogs in the home for the past 20 years, ranging from puppies up to 16 year old dogs requiring end of life care. I sadly lost my dog earlier this year and now that I work away 2 days a week, I cannot commit to another dog of my own but feel I have plenty of support to offer other dog owners, and I genuinely love all dogs. I have experience of a range of ages, sizes and breeds (ranging from 5kg up to 35kg) and have experience of dogs who do and don't get along! I have experience of crate training dogs and will gladly support this if required. I also have a vast amount of experience with dogs who suffer from anxiety. Letting go of the dogs at the end of boarding is always hard and they all leave little paw prints on my heart, but I firmly believe they remember their stay as a happy time with me, just as we remember our holidays. I hope knowing this enables the dog parents to enjoy worry free time without their best friend, knowing they are having the best time.

Pete was an absolutely fantastic dog sitter. He made the whole process seamless and was happy to go the extra mile for us. We spent the entire time comfortable in the knowledge that our furry friends were in good hands. We were assured with consistent updates and some amazing photographs! 10/10 dog sitting! It is such a relief to know that our boy Chester is so well looked after at Pete’s. We receive regular updates and photos and Chester appears to really enjoy his holiday there. When your dog is with Pete, he isn't just looking after your dog, your dog be ones part of the family and is treated amazingly.
Pete is fantastic - Hugo has stayed a few times and always comes back so happy. This was a very last minute request and Pete was so accommodating as always. Thank you!
Pete is a genuinely lovely guy who obviously loves his dogs. He was absolutly amazing with Bertie. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt as though he treat Bertie as his own which gave us great peace of mind when we left him. He kept us up to date with loads of great photos and updates. We were reassured that Bertie had his medication on time. Cannot recommend Pete highly enough and we will definitely use him again in the future.
I can’t praise and recommend Pete highly enough. Fabulous host. He made our dog feel right at home straight away; we felt quite happy to leave him. During our 2 day stay away we got lots of photos of the brilliant time he was clearly having on the beach and how settled he was at Pete’s house ( despite wild weather!) The location is wonderful for our lively sprocker and we will certainly book him in with Pete again when we are up next. Steph
Syd loved his first night on his holidays with Pete! The communication was fantastic, lots of updates and photos so we were reassured he was in good hands and having a lovely time. Syd didn't want to leave at the end of his weekend! He's looking forward to his next visit already!

Zeitplan
I work away 2 days a week, but work from home the remaining days with flexible working. With sufficient notice I can jiggle these days around, and I am available most weekends.

I have a large fenced garden where dogs can enjoy a variety of textures and smells, and live on the coast so plenty of coastal and countryside walks available right outside the front door. The house is safe and secure with a good level of separation in rooms, should this be required. Whilst in my care, the dogs will not be left alone at any point and will be looked after as if they are my own.
Ein typischer Tag
Dogs will be walked as per your schedule on a variety of walks both countryside and coastal, whilst weather permitting there will be permanent access to the large garden for exercise. I am a keen photographer and believe that everyone deserves beautiful pictures of their dogs, so I suspect you will also come away with some snaps of your dog as well.
