I work remotely in tech as a full-stack product builder, which gives me the freedom to plan my day around your dog’s routine. I’m up early (usually by 6:30 AM), and as long as there’s solid Wi-Fi, I can work from anywhere. That means I’m available for walks, check-ins, meals, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. My wife is based out of San Francisco for work and is not involved in my Rover services. All pet care will be handled by me, personally. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to provide updates so you always feel connected while you’re away.

I’m a full-time van-lifer currently based out of a Mercedes Sprinter camper van. Because of that, I only offer house-sitting — not boarding. I never stay inside your home unless you specifically request it. I prefer to stay in my van, which I park right in your driveway or nearby in the neighborhood, and I check in throughout the day to care for your pup in the comfort of their own space. This setup has worked beautifully during sits for friends and family across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico — especially for weekend getaways and short trips. I also love sending photo and video updates as often as you’d like. One of my favorite things is capturing those joyful reunion moments when you return home. It’s a privilege to be part of that. And just to clarify: all care will be provided by me alone. If my wife ever joins the platform in the future, she will have her own separate profile.
Information Perry C. would like to know about your pet
Every dog is different, and I’m here to meet them where they are. It’s helpful to know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs, anxieties, triggers, or medical issues — anything that helps me make them feel more safe and understood. If your dog has any leash reactivity, resource guarding, or a bite history, that’s not necessarily a dealbreaker — I just ask that you’re open with me so I can approach things appropriately and set your dog up for success. I’m also happy to follow any training protocols you already have in place. My priority is your dog’s comfort and emotional well-being. If they have a routine that works, I’ll stick to it. If they’re still learning, I’ll support that process with patience and consistency. Just let me know what works best for them — and for you.
A typical day
A typical day really depends on your dog’s energy level, temperament, and routine. I’m not a super high-energy person, so I don’t do anything overly strenuous — but I love going on walks, playing fetch, or just spending time bonding and engaging with your dog. I’m very particular when it comes to training and communication. I follow a force-free, fear-free approach, so I use positive reinforcement, patience, and structure to help dogs feel confident and calm. If your dog enjoys learning, I’m happy to incorporate light training and mental enrichment into the day. Above all, I’m flexible — whether your pup needs quiet companionship, a few short walks, or some interactive play, I’ll match their rhythm and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for every step of the way.

Trainer with Camper Van Flexibility
Pet care experience
I’ve spent years helping dogs become their best selves — and more importantly, helping owners build deeper, healthier relationships with them. I trained under The Bark Stop, possibly the best dog training school in the U.S., based in Florida. It’s an award-winning program focused on force-free, fear-free methods, and I’m proud to call myself a dedicated student of that philosophy. People often ask if I’m a professional trainer just from seeing how well-behaved my two dogs are — Dogson, a 7-year-old Maltipoo, and Bocky, his 9-year-old older brother. I’ve helped train dogs of all sizes and personalities for friends and family, and I bring calm, confidence, and compassion to every interaction. I’m also certified in Cat and Dog First Aid by the American Red Cross, which means in the event of an emergency, your pet will be in trained and capable hands. I’m an intermediate groomer as well — I do our dogs’ cuts, nail trims, and even gland expression when needed. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority, and I will be the only person providing care.
Reviews
I have a very sweet but extremely high-energy labradoodle named Georgie — he’s almost five, but you’d think he was still a puppy with how much energy he has. There were times when I just needed a break. Between work and life, I couldn’t always keep up with Georgie’s needs, and I’d feel guilty about it. Perry was someone I could completely rely on. Whenever I needed time for myself, whether for a few hours or a full day, Perry would make it work — no guilt, no pressure, just genuine support. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He’d keep Georgie engaged, help burn off that wild energy, and bring him home tired, happy, and calm. It made a huge difference, especially in the evenings when I needed things to slow down. Perry has a calm, confident way with dogs — and he never made me feel bad for needing help. I’m so grateful to have him in our lives.
Perry didn’t just take care of my Frenchie, Love — he helped me understand him better. I left Love with Perry for a week up in San Luis Obispo, and from the start I could tell he actually listens to dogs. He kept things calm, loving, and structured the whole time. But what really stood out is how much time he spent training me — not in a preachy way, just showing me simple things I could do to communicate better with Love. He even taught Love to roll over, which was cool — but the real difference is that now I know how to keep building on that. Love’s listening to me more, and our bond feels stronger. If you’re looking for someone who won’t just babysit your dog but actually help you become a better dog parent, Perry’s your guy. I’m grateful, man.
Perry is an incredibly responsible and caring person who took wonderful care of both my home and my dog, Winston, while I was away. Perry went above and beyond to ensure everything was well looked after—Boone received plenty of walks, playtime, and affection, and I came home to a well-tended house. It was such a relief to know that both my pet and my home were in such capable, trustworthy hands. I would highly recommend Perry to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely kind house- and pet-sitter.
