I can’t recommend Penny highly enough. Pele is a rescue cat, so her routine, comfort, and sense of security are really important to me. From the moment I left, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such kind and capable hands, especially as she is a house cat, I felt reassured she would stay safely in Penny's home, without fear of escaping and the freedom to roam in her home! The care and attention Pele received were exceptional — she was well fed, relaxed, and clearly comfortable when I returned. It was obvious she’d been treated with real patience and understanding, and not just “looked after,” but genuinely cared for. Coming home to a calm, happy cat made all the difference, and I’m so grateful for the care and reassurance throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust Pele with Penny again and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, reliable pet care.
Penny looks after our dogs with care, knowledge and love! The greeting she gets from my dogs when they see her is testimony to how much they enjoy being in her care. I have 3 dogs ranging from very elderly to puppy age (of energetic breeds) & Penny’s experience and understanding is so reassuring; I simply couldn’t leave my elderly dog with someone with this knowledge. I wholeheartedly recommend Penny - she’s wonderful!
We had a last minute panic when our usual dog sitters (my parents) couldn’t take Pepper when we were going away for a week! Penny was absolutely brilliant and came to the rescue immediately. Pepper had a fantastic time with Penny and her family and we had loads of updates. Their house is in the countryside with lots of fields to run in directly from the garden. She got loads of walks and most importantly lots of affection and love. Now Pepper can’t wait to get out of the car when we go and we’re so happy to have someone we 100% trust to look after her. 5 stars!

Schedule
I work part time in a Doctors surgery so have plenty of time at home during the week and at weekends for dog sitting and boarding.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced garden in the countryside surrounded by fields so lots of lovely walks close by. We recently lost our Labrador who was nearly 15 years old so our house is suitable for dogs of all ages.
A typical day
We have so many different routes to take on walks from here, there will always be new scents to sniff! I also have lots of space in the garden to play fetch and other fun games!
