Penny can care for
Availability
I own a business operations consulting firm and am a home owner, so I exclusively work remotely from my home. My schedule is pretty flexible throughout the day, and I’m trying for be more intentional about actually going out into the world - ha! My daily and weekly schedules are quite conducive to pet care outside of my home office!

About Penny G.

Safety, trust & environment
I adjust to the environment pets are used to. Are your pets on a schedule/routine? Happy to follow it! Do your pets need meds or a bath? No problem, just point me in the direction of what they’re used to in your home and I am happy to oblige :)
Information Penny G. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has special commands, needs, routines, or idiosyncrasies that would be helpful to know. If they have a favorite toy or park or walk path, I would love to know that too!
A typical day
I like to follow the lead of their home/parents. What’s a normal routine for your pet? What do they like to do? I would much rather stick with what your pet knows and loves than try something new and it end badly (but if you want us to try something new, we can do that too!)

Pet lover, friend, and former owner
Pet care experience
Experienced in: Puppy/kitten care, elder dog/cat care, special needs dogs, administering medications (oral, eye drops, topical creams), multiple animals at once, house sitting. The first 18 years of my life, I had 4 fish, a turtle, 2 chickens, 2 dogs, and 4 cats. I have previously helped friends acclimate with their rescue dogs, dog and house sit my bestie’s elderly doggies and my cousin's cat, and I’ve only ever met 2 dogs that didn’t like me (in my defense, they were both skittish rescues). Unfortunately, I am not in a place to have pets of my own due to my travel for work, so I like to live vicariously through others to scratch my missing-pets itch 😁
Reviews

Having Penny as a petsitter helps us vacation without worry about the care and well-being of our two dogs. Penny provides regular updates and photos of them and we know they are always in good hands. We are grateful to have a trusted, loving caretaker in her.

Our two dogs loved having Penny stay at our house for the weekend and took care of them. She gave us daily updates and photos! It was nice to have an ease of mind while we were away with someone who we could trust, especially with a 6 month old puppy who can be a trouble maker at times. We appreciate how communicative Penny was with us the entire time. We will definitely be using Penny again in the future!

Penny is a wonderful sitter! Very knowledgeable and communicative and great with all three of our cats. We know they’re in great hands with her.

Penny was terrific! She was a great communicator with us and clearly fell in love with our little dog. We highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!
