I was terrified of dogs as a child. My mom decided I needed my own dog to get over my fears. It worked! This was the beginning of my love of dogs and a life of must have dogs. We are a family of crazy dog people. My husband, my son, myself and our Yorkshire Terrier named Sophie. Yes, Sophie is a "people too."We would love to have your dog come for a visit to play with Sophie. Your dog will have the same privileges as our Sophie which includes snuggling on the sofa and sleeping in the bed if that's their routine at home. We will spoil your dog rotten with all the love and affection they will receive. My goal is for you to relax and enjoy your vacation/business trip knowing your dog will be loved and cared for as our own. You can have peace of mind knowing your dog will be played with and walked daily. Because I do not work outside of my home your dog will never be alone for very long. We look forward to meeting you and your best friend soon. Why I love dog sitting I love dog sitting because it has been a healing for our family. When we lost our Boxer to cancer we were heart broken. Having dogs come to our home helped not only us but our dog Sophie as well. Our hearts break a little when our fur guest go home but we know they will come again soon. Sophie is always tired and sad when her friends leave. She's also very happy to meet and greet the next ones after a little rest. About my yard I have a large fenced backyard. I also have a smaller fenced area so your dog is safe when he/she goes out to potty at night or for quick potty breaks when the weather is inclement. My experience administering medication I am willing to administer medications. I require written instructions for dosage and schedule.

Schedule
Your dog will enjoy their stay with us. Our routine will be one of structure, safety and affection . Your dog will feel loved and cared for. Your dog will get plenty of play and exercise. Safety is our number one priority. We care for them and love them like our own.

We have a fenced yard with plenty of space for your dog to exercise and explore. We have two dogs that love the company of their friends having sleepovers. The home environment is dog friendly and snuggles and cuddles are given freely!

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I will walk in my neighborhood or at a local park. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Where your dog sleeps depends on your dog. Most sleep in our bedroom on dog beds. Some sleep on our bed if that is their routine at home. We have plenty of dog beds but if it makes your pup more comfortable you can bring theirs. If your dog is crate trained you are welcome to bring their crate also. Time I'll spend with your dog Your dog will not be left for long periods of time. I will walk, play with and care for your dog as if he or she were my own.
