On Call Dog Walker
I’ve been around pets my entire life, growing up with everything from cats and dogs to fish and reptiles. Taking care of animals has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve been looking after dogs since I was 8 years old. My first dog was a Jack Russell terrier, so I know how energetic and spirited they can be—almost as big as a German Shepherd in personality! Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of dogs and their needs, and I’m always patient, loving, and assertive to ensure they know I’m the one in charge. I really enjoy house sitting and caring for the pets of my friends and family. They trust me with their fur babies, and I take that responsibility seriously. There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing I’ve provided them with the best care while they’re away. I’m super excited to help you out and hopefully build a bond with a new furry friend!

This was Simba’s very first boarding experience, and it couldn’t have gone any better. He seemed so happy and comfortable during his stay, and it was clear he was really enjoying himself. The updates and photos were reassuring, and I could tell he was well-cared for the entire time. I’m so grateful for such a positive first experience. Simba will definitely be back!

Programa
As a local realtor, my schedule offers plenty of flexibility, which makes it easy for me to fit in pet care throughout the day. I typically have some down time in between appointments, especially while I’m commuting to showings in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. During these breaks, I’d love to take a dog for a walk—it's the perfect way to get outside, enjoy some light exercise, and give your pup the attention they need. Whether it's before or after an appointment, a walk is a great way for both of us to stay active and refreshed!

In my home, I currently have a Chiweenie, and I know how important it is to keep pets active and happy. When caring for pets, whether it's my own or my neighbors' Bulldog or my best friend's Labrador, I make sure to follow a consistent routine. I fill their water bowls, provide meals as needed, and always take them out for walks to keep them active. I also make time to play with them, so they’re not just being fed and let out but also getting the attention and interaction they deserve. I believe it’s especially important to give pets exercise and companionship, especially when their owners are busy with work or travel. My goal is always to leave them content and well-cared for, so when you return, your fur baby is happy and comfortable!

I love keeping pets entertained with a mix of fun activities! We’ll go on walks, play fetch, enjoy interactive toys, or explore new scents at the park. I’m all about providing mental and physical stimulation, so they stay happy and tired by the time you return. For more chill days, we can cuddle or do some low-key training games to keep their minds engaged! Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their personality and energy level.
