I am able to watch and take care of birds, reptiles, fish, and any other exotic pet you have. Hey there! My name is Penelope and I’ve been working for Rover 4 years now. I am open for all options and very flexible with any additional needs you or your furry friends may need! I have worked as a vet tech for 2 years so I have a medical background. I have worked at a doggy daycare and for petco as the animal caregiver for 5 years. I have experience with lots of different animals from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. As a pet owner I know they are like family, and it can be hard to leave them so I provide lots of updates with pics and I can be texted at any time. I am very active and love going on walks and giving your pets lots of attention!

Penelope was able to step in and help us last minute when we learned our previous sitter had moved right before a trip. She followed all our instructions and was always timely with her visits. Even though our little guy can be spicy she took it in stride and he was in great spirits when we returned! We’ll always be grateful she gave us peace of mind while traveling.
I could tell the second I step into their home that they were all about pets. They had everything for their dogs and they were more than willing to share all of that with my dog Reyna. Schedule
I currently work as a zookeeper full-time, so I will not be available 7:30-4:30 Thursday-Monday. On days that I work I take care of everyone in the early morning and in the evenings when I get back home.

A typical day
I love going out on walks with the dogs. I live a block from the beach and enjoy taking dogs out there to walk around. I also have a back yard that I am able to go outside and play with them.
