I am available on weekends at present, but will be available on weekdays starting near the end of July, if not sooner. I miss taking care of pets but do not believe in leaving them alone for 8-10 hours/day. I would work a half day while taking care of your animals.

I would like to know what breed they are. I am very comfortable with most dogs but leery about sitting for pitbulls, and mixed pitbull/boxer breeds.

I love to play tug-of-war with your dogs' toys if they enjoy that, and I also enjoy walking them around the neighborhood or a nearby park. If a dog likes to sleep on the bed with me, I'm all in.

I have moved to the Knoxville area and am excited to start dog-sitting again. I have missed snuggling with dogs. I will be available during the weekdays in a couple of months as I will be transitioning to part-time work. I love dogs, playing with them, giving them walks, and just cuddling with them (yes, even large ones). In the past, I have dog-sat for people when they have gone on vacation. I am a dog lover who has never owned a dog myself because of financial reasons. I am a non-smoker. You will return to a clean house (I have been known to clean refrigerators). I will make sure all waste is picked up every day, especially during the hot summer days. I will also give your dog a bath (unless he/she is very resistant). I will also water plants and yard, as well as pick up mail if need be. I am available to walk dogs and/or let them out during the day and most evenings.

Peggy was wonderful with our shy little Chihuahua, Lily. I wanted someone in the house with our fur baby rather than just drop-in visits and it worked out wonderfully! Peggy was very respectful of our house and took good care of Lily. It was a win win situation for me and for Lil. When we got home I could tell that she had been taken care of well as she was happy to see us; but not clingy or nervous. I will definitely have Peggy in our home the next time we are planning to leave town and highly recommend her as your sitter.
Our dog was well fed and given lots of love and attention by Peggy!
Peggy has been a wonderful dog care/ house sitter for us for the entire time of living in our town. She truly loved our two golden retrievers: spoiled them, spent time with them (whether or not she officially dog sat), and treated them as her own. She spent weekends and weeks alone in our home with our pets and we always returned to a picked-up house and content dogs. We have continually found her to be honest and trustworthy, willing and eager to help us out.
