Hi, my name is Peggi. I have been caring for dogs for the past 20 years. They add so much joy and happiness to this world. You can count on me to be patient and loving with your pup while also respecting any boundaries that you have set so they feel safe and loved while they’re away from home. Dogs with anxiety and/or shyness have a special place in my heart. It makes me happy to make sure they feel safe and secure while you're away. In addition, I primarily work from home, so I’m here to play, interact and go for walks whenever I like. I have a large fenced yard as well as a front porch that is secured- there's also a daybed for the pups to lounge on while they people watch. All pups are welcome on my sofa and bed. I also have multiple dog beds throughout my home so everyone can find their favorite spot. I have 2 small terriers of my own - Scruff and Ziggy are super loving, senior pups. They both came from shelters/rescues, and they love meeting and socializing with new friends. I look forward to meeting you and your pup.

Peggi came through for me and Pickle when I needed a sitter last minute. I was so grateful for her kind heart and for looking after my baby.
We have had Peggi watch our pup for three trips now and each time she has been amazing, even under very difficult circumstances. We just scheduled a 4 night stay during what turned out to be the January 24 ice storm, so it turned into a 6 night stay. Peggi was so flexible and responsive during our many, many back and forths about when the roads would be safe enough to pick up our dog, and always treated the situation with positivity and care. It was such a load off to know our dog was still welcome and being cared for even though the schedule did not at all go as planned. She also watched our dog during the 114 degree heat dome event a few years back and got creative to keep everyone cool, and even took her camping once with the rest of her dog crew! Thank you SO much Peggi, we love working with you!!!
Peggi was a huge help when I needed last minute care for my dog and she did a great job with an often nervous dog who has some very odd behaviors!

Peggi was the absolute best with our pup Max. She kept us up to date on how he was settling in with wonderful pictures and messages that made us feel at ease he was doing ok. She even went out and picked up more food since we didn’t pack enough for his stay! I could tell Max was sad to leave his new pack but excited to see Peggi and the littles again soon! Thank you Peggi!

Schedule
I am self-employed and work primarily from home so I’m readily available for whatever your pet needs. My schedule is flexible and I’m always willing to stop what I’m doing to disperse snuggles.

Safety, trust & environment
My fully fenced yard is a safe and secure environment to hang out in and for play. The daybed on my front porch is large enough for all of us to pile onto. My home has plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. I’m always around to supervise all outdoor activities. Even if it’s just sunbathing 😄
Pets
A typical day
We have lots of room to run around here as well as go on walks around the neighborhood. I'm also close to a great enclosed schoolyard that doubles as a dog hang out after school hours.
