Animals have been a big part of my life since childhood. I got my first two dogs, Kapitu and Winky, when I was six years old, and they shared 13 wonderful years with me filled with love and adventure. In 2019, my girlfriend and I adopted our first kitten, Toothless — inspired by How to Train Your Dragon — and soon after, Light Fury joined our family. In 2021, we welcomed Stark, our Golden Retriever (yes, named after Iron Man!). When we moved to Canada a year and a half ago, our furry family came with us, of course. My passion for animals naturally led me into professional pet care. Back in Brazil, I completed 400+ pet sitting visits through DogHero, consistently praised for my attentiveness, communication, and the affection I give every pet. Between 2021 and 2023, my home also hosted over 150 dogs for daycare and boarding, each with personalized care and lots of playtime. Since moving to Canada, I’ve had the joy of completing 100+ bookings on Rover, providing trusted and loving care for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m also a Certified Canine Coach, which has strengthened my knowledge of dog behavior, group dynamics, and positive reinforcement training. This helps me create a safe, structured, and fun environment where every dog feels comfortable and loved. Whether it’s walks, boarding, or daycare, I treat every pet as if they were my own — with patience, care, and plenty of cuddles. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and make them feel right at home! 🐶🐱

Our dog is not an easy one, she doesn’t take any meds but is a senior and has a very strong personality… Pedro and Mayara were very professional and caring with our dog and our place. We received daily updates every time she went out, she looked happy and well taken care of.

We had a wonderful boarding experience with Pedro and Mayara and our two small dogs . We appreciated the opportunity to do a meet and greet the week before our trip so our dogs could meet Pedro and their very friendly dog Stark. The communication was excellent throughout our dogs stay and we got pictures everyday with updates. We also loved the personal touch upon pickup when we received a Pup “report card” providing us feedback on our dogs stay. Overall our dogs were definitely well cared for and we will definitely use Pedro and Mayara again for future boarding stays.

Highly recommended! We had to find a sitter for Ash last minute for a 3-day trip to Florida, and I’m so glad I found Pedro and Mayara. They were incredibly flexible with the last-minute request and handled the scheduling perfectly. We received daily updates and photos of Ash, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that Ash was well-cared for and happy. We will definitely be booking with them again!
