Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, as I already care for my own two dogs and two cats. My day is structured around regular feeding times, walks, play, and check-ins, so adding additional pets fits in seamlessly. I am used to early mornings, consistent routines, and making time throughout the day for attention, exercise, and monitoring, especially as my cats require extra care. I am also home frequently, which allows me to provide regular companionship and supervision rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. On a weekly basis, I keep a flexible schedule that allows me to adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that is longer walks, multiple visits, or more attentive care. Pet care is not something I fit in. It is already a central part of my lifestyle.

Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or in a pet owner’s home. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any medical or behavioural needs so I can provide consistent, personalised care. In my home, I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-safe environment. I make sure there are no hazards, keep a close eye on interactions, and provide separate spaces if a pet needs quiet time or feels overwhelmed. I follow feeding schedules carefully and ensure plenty of supervised play, rest, and comfort. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their familiar environment and stick as closely as possible to their usual routine. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding and walking to medication and any specific care requirements. I also keep owners updated with regular messages so they feel reassured while they are away. I am especially attentive to pets with additional needs, as I have experience caring for disabled cats. I always prioritise their comfort, safety, and emotional wellbeing, making sure they feel secure and well looked after at all times.

I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up around dogs, cats, and even horses taught me not only how to handle different personalities, but also how to truly understand their needs and behaviours. Today, I share my home with two dogs and two cats, both of whom have disabilities. Caring for them has given me hands-on experience with patience, attentiveness, and adapting care to suit individual needs. I’m comfortable administering extra care, monitoring health, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s energetic walks, gentle companionship, or specialised care, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I aim to provide reliable, compassionate care that gives both you and your pets peace of mind.

Our Bedlington Whippet, Hiro absolutly loves his walks and time with Pearl.
